Oh yeah! I agree. They have to like, stay silent to be able to be together or else, the archangels will separate them. Sad, sad fate.

I agree. Too many books, so little time :( I wish I can just read and slump into the sofa and ignore reality. That way, I'll be content.

message 254: by JenniferJ (new)

JenniferJ I just started on Intertwined (Intertwined, #1) by Gena Showalter
Haven't gotten far enough to form any opinions yet though.

Is it really that good? The whole Titanic idea really turns me off.

The Titanic really is just the backdrop to Tess's story and Alec's story and their coming together. The actual sinking of the boat is played out quite fast, even then its still about the characters. The second half of the book was the best, I thought. It played out like a movie in my mind as I was reading. I really love Claudia Gray books.

message 258: by Rebecca (last edited Oct 12, 2011 08:20PM) (new)

Rebecca | 453 comments Fateful was SO good. And I agree with Jody; the Titanic bits of the book really aren't the main focus at all. It's like a small detail, almost.

I just finished Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan, which was somewhat of a disappointment to me. Maybe my expectations were too high. I need to stop getting so excited when a series claims to be 'as riveting as The Hunger Games'.

Just started Beauty Queens by Libba Bray, which is pretty funny so far. I'm not taking it too seriously.

I thought Fateful was amazing too. If you ask me this is the love story aboard the Titanic that should have been in the movie.
