OMG yes Laura! I picked this one up a couple of days ago because it had over 300 perfect 5 star reviews already and the story sounds like its going to be a fantastic read :)

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 257 comments It's gonna be some time before I get over Memories of Ice (Malazan Book of the Fallen, #3) by Steven Erikson . It was amazing, but so damned heartrending. Steven Erikson has ripped me apart and I cried for pretty much the last 12% of the book. They didn't have to die like that... There were some good moments in the end there, but the losses were so overwhelming.

Starting Before They Are Hanged (The First Law, #2) by Joe Abercrombie

Yeah, that is the only reason I am comparing it. But it was a major factor of both books so for me I cant help but compare them. But there was sex in On the Island (On the Island #1) by Tracey Garvis-Graves , just not nearly as much as The Education of Sebastian (The Education of..., #1) by Jane Harvey-Berrick .

message 29114: by Becky (new)

Becky (dontgrumble) | 67 comments Okay, i just finished Reasons I Fell for the Funny Fat Friend by Cassie Mae and The Avery Shaw Experiment by Kelly Oram and both were funny, sweet, lighthearted romances. After a couple of pages i had a massive smile on my face and not long after was laughing out loud. The only problem is now im struggling to get into other books. Any suggestions for similar books people?

I would definitely recommend reading Lover Revealed first. You might be shocked if you read Lover Unbound first.

Okay, so Unscrupulous (The Manhattanites, #2) by Avery Aster was disappointing. Very Sex in the City with a lackluster ending, not my thing for a romance.

Yesterday I got completely lost in Shane's story Scars and Songs (Mad World, #3) by Christine Zolendz , God it was even better from his POV!! LOVE their story, it's so sexy/beautiful!!

Started an ARC of A Shadow of Light (A Shade of Vampire, #4) by Bella Forrest this morning, so excited!!

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Finished Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay late last night or early this morning and it was wonderful. A very unique and fresh take on the classic fairy tale. I loved it. I'm also halfway through The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken snd really liking it a lot so far. Will have to resume late tonight or tomorrow as I'm at a family birthday for the day so it'll have to wait.

I am almost finished with Tempting the Best Man (Gamble Brothers, #1) by J. Lynn and for me it's pretty predictable. I say the reviews for it but it isn't doing anything for me. I think she should stick with the YA because the NA hasn't been as good for me. Just my opinion, don't you guys riot on me! hahaha

message 29139: by Donna (new)

Donna | 1350 comments I finished up Gravity (Mageri, #4) by Dannika Dark & holy crap it's good. Anticipating the last book in December. Then I flew through Fallen Crest High (Fallen Crest High, #1) by Tijan . It's really good. A little... odd maybe because I feel like there's something darker beneath the way the Kade's interact with everyone, except Sam of course. Either that they are really not the nicest people, or that it's a show. I like the book, a lot, but I'm still trying to figure it out. I'll read bk 2 (of course) and we'll see how it goes.

FCH was definitely different. Parts of it had me thinking it was ridiculous, parts had me completely engrossed. It was different and I ended up enjoying it, so I can't complain. =)
