It was good. I have read similar stories that were better. The heroine irked me a bit at times. But it was enjoyable and Axel is super smexy :)

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1075 comments Secret for a Song by S.K. Falls I finished this one, and it was pretty good. The ending was kind of depressing, though.

Now reading Alice in Zombieland (The White Rabbit Chronicles, #1) by Gena Showalter and I'm really liking it so far!

Yeah Laura it took me a bit to get used to her voice too but once I did it was good. The second book is a guy narrating and I liked it a lot. Haven't listened to third one yet but eventually will as I love these books so much and really liked the male narrator of the 2nd book :)

Sometimes the narrator makes all the difference. I have listened to many books because I love the narrator and there have been a few that I wouldn't listen to because of the narrator.

Paula (littledarling2012) | 621 comments Reading Not Your Average Joe by Nell Carson and it is surprisingly good. I really like the story so far, the main character Jennifer is so likeable. But Jared/Jason so far is the world's biggest douche. I want to punch him senseless.

Well unfortunately it's nothing new, heroine being an annoying, whining little B seems to be the theme of the year. But smexy is always good! :D

oh my god it drives me nuts too. I think I might have caused myself a health problem from so much eye-rolling. and pregnancy! it's like authors are doing this weird contest of who's character is more messed up, who comes up with the horrific background and who gets pregnant faster. I wish they all would grow out of it!!

IMO you are doing yourself a favor not read it! I read it a while ago and hated. all I remember is that Nora (right?) was so annoying, she made me want to shoot myself. And there was some mystery(don't remember what it was) that kept hitting her in the face through out the book and she just ignored it. It's freaking there, open your damn eyes. ugh!

Finally got around to reading Blood Will Tell (Warriors of Ankh, #1) by Samantha Young after having it up to read a half dozen times! It was really good, I definitely want to read the rest of the series now (dammit!!).

Going to fly through Slave of Passion (The Harishtu Saga, #1) by Brian Warren for a blog review, then I'm following Adriana's advice and reading Bully (Fall Away, #1) by Penelope Douglas and then an ARC of Unscrupulous (The Manhattanites, #2) by Avery Aster .

Exactly, she didn't gave out much and still managed to keep my attention from page one. I loved her characters and writing style. Actually it was a cliffhanger in its own way, just not the kind that leaves you bitting your nails off. Um, some cover models work for the book and I don't mind it, but in this case cover is just pretty and that so isn't Ronan. just like you said, pretending is our best option!!! lol

I second that!! Hush, Hush was one of my absolute favorite series up until Finale, which I hated. So I don't recommend the series just because it ended with a lame finish, but I still think the first three were great stories; even if Nora was a little irritating at times. =)
