Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Oh yeah Victoria, that cliffie was a KILLER! I about died at that ending! Worst. Cliffie. Ever! But the sequel is better and amazing! And now I hear there's a 3rd one, which thank god because the end still didn't satisfy me. Well all but the end did but it didn't end on a cliffie. There were just some things that weren't resolved. But to hear of another Callie & Kayden book, I'm excited! I love Kayden! And we get Luke's book next too! :)

Oh no! Does it have a cliffy? I just bought the first one recently and was gonna read it soon.

I finished Some Like It Hot (Cat DeLuca Mysteries, #3) by K.J. Larsen and really enjoyed it. This is one of those quick, easy and fun series. Almost finished with The Hit (Will Robie, #2) by David Baldacci . Love Baldacci!

message 28554: by Ekaterine (new)

Ekaterine (thegoddess) | 478 comments I finished Fifth Grave Past the Light (Charley Davidson, #5) by Darynda Jones and loved it! Oh my God that ending! I can't wait to see what happens next and I have to say Reyes Farrow was little surprising. all flirty and funny and of course hot as sin...*sigh* also read Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1) by Stephanie Perkins and I absolutely adored it! I fell in love with Stephanie Perkins writing from page one and read the whole book in one evening. Finished Rule (Marked Men, #1) by Jay Crownover and really liked it. Yep, I totally have a crush on him.
I'm not sure what to read next, though. It seems I have a contemporary-mania, so any recommendations are welcome. Just no crazy drama please, I'm avoiding that one like the plague.

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1075 comments Since you loved Anna, I'd say Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2) by Stephanie Perkins . Or Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell which really reminded me of Stephanie's books, just a little quirkier.

I never did get Losing Hope to send, and Netgalley ended up listing it as a problem file! They said they're having issues with lagging due to increased traffic. Guess the word has spread too much! LOL

Yes, Laura and I are polar opposites on Taking Chances. LOL I LOATHED it and wish I'd never read it, and that's pretty much how the readers are split on this one. You either love it or hate it! Look forward to seeing what you think when you're done!

♥ Rebecca ♥ | 1653 comments Would some one mind telling me a bit about A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2) by Kresley Cole ? I know everyone loves it and the series has been recommended to me several times. But I see the word 'demon' and I steer clear. Anything to do with hell or the devil scares the crap out of me. But if they are just depicted as monsters and not much else then I dont mind, like in the first few TMI books (I havent finished the series).

I agree with Laura, I read the Vincent Brothers first then read Boys. But I didn't need to go back, I know a lot preferred Boys. But I liked Brothers more. I liked Sawyer. He and Marcus are my two fave Abbi boys plus maybe Cage

I absolutely LOVED the Vincent Boys. It was so much better than the Vincent Brothers to me. I did read the boys first, so that could have something to do with it. I'm a little OCD about reading series in order. Even if they are stand alones:) hope you like Beacuse of Low. Did you read Breathe? (the first in the sea breeze series)
