Yep, I had a big issue with that. WHy she chose to make her THAT young is beyond me, it could have worked just as well if she were at least a few years older!

The incident I am referring to is not something that happened with Linden, or anything disturbing. Its just something that Rhine said that made me realize that Linden was never going to be outed for what he really was. A pervert. It was in book 3. I made it through book 1 because I always thought it would eventually happen. I made it through book 2 because Linden was hardly in it. But he was in book 3 the most, more than book 1, and I quit after about 100 pages.

I hope the author wasn't trying to make Linden some sexy villain because he just isn't doing that for me Rebecca. It's just not my style I guess. I can handle kidnapping, rapes, mutilation but not child porn.

Honestly, I dont think he is meant to be a sexy villain. Vaughn is the villain and I think Linden is meant to be a victim. Someone we are meant to sympathize with. A friend. So you have to be prepared to put up with that if you try to read this series.

I am only reading it for challenges and won't finish the series. I do find that reading books that make me angry is good for me as well. Just don't read these often.

Wouldn't call any of them good people, perse, but there are those that I root for and they have their moments where they aren't entirely selfish. I want to huggle Glokta.

Okay, so Bella definitely didn't take it easy on us once again, because A Castle of Sand (A Shade of Vampire, #3) by Bella Forrest was hard on the nerves!! Lots of suspense and some really upsetting moments this time around, so be prepared. THankfully no major cliffie, but it definitely leaves you wanting more!!
