Oh E maybe there is something wrong with your humor. After all you thought it would be humorous to string up a groupie. Hopeless is amazing thought! The best book I have read so far this year.

I feel so out of the loop after being caught up with family stuff for a few days, but it looks like lots of great reading was going on!!

I finished Salvation (The Captive, #4) by Erica Stevens , it was INCREDIBLE! The best finale I've come across yet; it had everything, and even when you think the thrills are done there are more huge twists that totally throw you! The story even went well beyond the moment of HEA (why don't more authors do this??!!) to really make all the pain and heartache this series puts you through absolutely worth it!! Definitely grab up this series if you haven't it's an unforgettable dystopian paranormal love story that is entirely unique. I also finished
Officer Off Limits (Line of Duty, #3) by Tessa Bailey which I absolutely loved, another great one from Entangled!!

Now I'm on to Entangled by Annie Brewer (YAY Annie!!), and an ARC of Escape from Paradise by Gwendolyn Field I snagged from the author that I'm really excited about!! EEP!!

OMG! I'm so in LOVE with The Genius and the Muse by Elizabeth Hunter it was AMAZING. Another book that I'm going to read ovee and over in years to come. Read it, you'll love it.

message 27716: by Belkis (new)

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments So yes, I finished and LOVED LOVED The Genius and the Muse by Elizabeth Hunter SO FREAKING GREAT! Oh Elizabeth Hunter! I mean I LOVE her series, The Elemental Mysteries & Cambio Springs so no surprise that her writing is amazing BUT OMG! The Genius And The Muse, was wonderfully unexpected in the way great things usually are. What a treat. It was beautiful and funny and emotional *sigh* just wonderful. Okay so also finished Being Me (Inside Out Trilogy, #2) by Lisa Renee Jones and it was very good. Lots of surprises and revelations and hotness. But I do have to say that the first half irked me. It dragged and I felt like the 2 main characters kept having the same discussion over and over. However, the second half made up for it big time with nonstop excitement and revelations. And the ending! What the hell?!? The last sentence completely throws you for a loop! I reread it three times to make sure it was true. And yeah, sure is! I REALLY need book 3! It's not a terrible cliffhanger, but it's jarring. Not sure what I'm reading next as I'm still reeling from Being Me and glowing from The Genius And The Muse :)

I'm almost finished with Nightshade Jenny. I had to load it on my computer so the only time I can get to it is when I'm at home. That's why I'm slow with it. I may be able to start tomorrow but I will be out of town this weekend for a wedding. Could you start it Monday? Sorry its so far away.

I was intrigued by the Chemical Garden series, but it's one of those that really gets under your skin. I still don't know how I'd want it to end, and I have yet to pick up the 3rd book because everyone has mixed feelings. Hope you enjoy it, I liked the first one better than the second.

It's four at the moment, but I'm not sure if that's going to change. Guess it depends on how the writing comes along through the fourth book, but it's not too far off either!
