Unfortunately it's not listed seperately, which is annoying. I had to add a small note in my review that I had both editions (I usually add them to my "kindle" shelf, but I couldn't do that with both of these) But, yeah, tell me how it is!!

I agree!! I still don't see the point in writing something all over again, when you can write plenty of new stories, that people will love!!

She's even changed the cover for all her books, and the covers were beautiful before!!

I hate when authors change covers. It confuses me when I am browsing on amazon and it tells me I own a book I don't recognize because the cover has been changed.

Yeah, I bought the YA right before she announced there would be an NA version. Truth be told I really liked the YA version. It didn't need to be changed. I had the same issue with Fallen Star series. I loved the YA version but tried to read Shattered Promises and couldn't do it

I signed up to do blog reviews for both of her new NA versions without having read either YA series first. I'm SO glad I hadn't, because they definitely weren't good enough that I would have been thinking "oh this is amazing, if only it were sexier!". LOL I really liked SP, and so far Ember is good, but they're not outstanding.

Yeah, I got to a part in the NA version where it was obvious to me she was going to push the triangle between them and it irked me a bit. In the YA version her relationship with Laylen is friendship first. In a way I didn't want my original Laylen sullied :) But since I didn't finish I don't know how it ended up.

Ember I enjoyed more than I thought I would. It definitely need to be steamier. The story was entertaining enough. But to each their own, right?!

Yup Laura, that's what happened to me at the beginnig when I started the series. I just went directly to Amazon and bought A Hunger Like No Other to start because they have it listed as book 1. It wasn't until I finished it that I caught it and bought the anthology and read The Warlord Wants Forever. After that, I just go straight to Kresley Cole's website for everything. But it didn't make any difference at all to the story. LOVE LOVE it :)

I am hopeful. I assume that a lot of the first book is set-up and world building. It seems very similar to the Breed series by Lora Leigh. I really liked that series and was looking for a new one that had that same idea. You know super-powered human-esque hunks who want to mate for life with some average Jane, and the tension of trying to deny their carnal desires, aka smut, delicious delicious smut. Open to suggestions btw.
