So I got to about 40% into
and then decided to skim through the rest so I could do my review. It's like the concepts from Beauty from Pain were used and a applied to a newly divorced mom and tamed down by several dozen degrees. Typical flaws of a copycat book with less impressive writing, I'm afraid.
So NOW I can officially start

Heather wrote: "I'm confused! I just finished
which I thought was the first IAD book. On Amazon though, it says that

Meaning that the characters and events taking place in both are actually happening simultaneously. Once you get to book 3 you will be all set and should be easy sailing and loving the series :). So in the beginning the author actually wrote
as book 1 and it's actually the book that I read first at the time I started it. The story of Myst is hinted at within A Hunger Like No Other. Then the author wrote Myst's story and released it as part of an anthology with 3 other authors each having 1 story within it in
. That's how I read it. I bought the anthology and read it after I had already read A Hunger Like No Other. And it was fine because as I mentioned the events taking place are all happening to different characters but are occurring within the same timeframe. Then the author re-released Myst's story as it's own individual book
and relabeled it as technically book 1. But like I said you can read either one first and it'll still all make the same difference. To be honest I actually preferred the fact that I read
first. Then I read
and then moved on to my favorite
which is now technically book 3. All of the books are in order. It's just that mishap with the first book because The Warlord Wants Forever was not a standalone at the beginning.

Sure darling :) I hope you enjoy it. This is my absolute favorite PNR series ever. At first it's a lot to kind of absorb but once you to get through
and
it's all good and you should be in love with the characters and the story because Kresley Cole's writing is absolutely fantastic. She will have you laughing out loud like you're insane. She's brilliant.

Grrr. I only got a few pages done yesterday and I went to open it back up tonight and it won't let me read it any longer...says it can't find the license for this item. I guess they pulled my ARC from Bluefire or something. Now I am mad so I probably won't buy it.
