and it was so good. Really bloody and intense. Looking forward to book 2. But need to reaf some smut first after all that killing :)

Yeah, Truth wasn't shocking as much as mind-boggling. It was more the brilliance of the twisted puzzle that Aleatha created for the plot that I loved, plus of course the emotions that she FINALLY brought out. I can see what you mean about the shock factor, though. Consequences definitely makes your jaw drop! LOL

I just finished Happy Birthday to You by Brian Rowe, the final book in his Birthday trilogy. The first 2 were phenomenal, and then he just crashed and burned worse than the Hindenburg. He changed genres - from a small paranormal to apocalyptic horror. And put in situations that were so over the top that they were unbelievable even for paranormal. It went from something like “Twilight” (tame supernatural with witty dialogue, though I hate Twilight) to a cross between “The Stand” and “The Walking Dead”. He also did something unthinkable to an MC in a series. I was so disappointed and so pissed off because I thought this would make my top-5 series of all time. Now I’m so soured on this I’m actually sorry I read the first two books. I think I’ll just write my own ending to it and call it a day – after I rip it to shreds in a review.

I loved Divergent. I really am excited to start the second but at the same time I know I'll be wanting the third one after that and I hate waiting xD

I thought the characters were very abstract, unattached.. But I am probably gonna continue the series, I do want to know how it ends and if it gets better..

There are so many conflicting reviews for this series. I personally really enjoyed it. I found the first book wasn't as good as the others if it gives you hope. I feel the series got better as it went along.

I think it does get better with the third one being my personal favorite. Hopefully you enjoy the rest of them:D

Breathe was my favorite though to be fair I've only read that and the second one.

The little things that irked me in Breathe really aggravated me in Low and everything in the book just annoyed me especially the main characters. I think the writing style just isn't for me.
@ Irene: it is SO much better than Matched! I finished the Matched series but it was only so-so for me. I finished Divergent in 1 night it was so awesome! Same for Insurgent. It is an awesome series & can't wait for October. I hope you'll love it.

This is my predicament too! I finished Divergent a couple of days ago and have Insurgent ready and waiting for me... but I'm hesitant because I know I'll wanna the next book immediately. I'm kinda impatient like that :D
