I finished He Belongs to Me by Theresa Rizzo and I am honestly shaking mad right now. I'm at a complete loss as to what to rate this, because my jerk reaction is to say it's a 1-star, but the author has potential. This story has the most infuriating characters and the the most maddening plot I've ever come across, and the ending was completely unbelievable and unsatisfying after all the hell you go through putting up with their crap. Ugh, I need a drink.

I'm on to Breathe by Elena Dillon , and I'm crossing my fingers it'll take some of the edge off my foul mood right now. ={

SO glad to hear this, because I started reading the sequel and when I realized they were being pulled apart it just pissed me off and I stopped reading. I decided I'd wait until the last one came out to see what people say before I got back to the series, because it was an absolute fave of mine when it first came out! Glad to know I can get back to it soon. =)

Yeah the last one was definitely a stinker. I've noticed her writing went downhill. Maybe it's because she has the success of the tv series, or like she lost the passion for it. It's such a shame because it really was good but now the writing has been HORRIBLE. Have you guys read the reviews? Everyone has given it 1 star and has ripped it apart, people were pissed. I'm gonna make myself finish it just so I know what happens in the end!

I read this one and I was not happy at all. I know the last few of these books were getting bad reviews but this was actually the only one in the series that I thought was just plain bad. For it being the last in a series of 13 books it was a HUGE letdown. Oh Well.

message 25989: by Teresa (new)

Teresa | 606 comments I would have been ok with Sookie winding up with someone other than Eric. But I just never felt any chemistry at all between her and the guy she wound up with. I didn't like the random 3rd person narratives, and I wished there was more of a story line featuring the vampire characters.

Done!! I need next book like yesterday! Well, first of all I think characters need therapy and so do I! Jeez.

I enjoyed reading Truth much more, but part of me was expecting something more shocking. Consequences wasn't enjoyable read, it was stressful and scary but the end was worth it. It fried my mind and that's what I was hoping from the Truth too. All in all consequences is more brilliantly disturbing and the Truth is emotional read. I think for middle book it's perfect.

Couple of days ago I thought you were insane, lol no offense. But I couldn't believe you wanted Tony and Claire together. Now I think I'm insane too. Who would have thought I would be on team Tony or miss him! Thanks for your support. :) You were my AR Sponsor, lol.
