It took me a book or two to really get into. I enjoyed it but didnt love it right away. It felt a bit contrived, like the sexual situations were a bit fake, like porn. :P But its gotten better and I'm hooked now. I am totally in love with the New Species. I wish they were real. *sigh* (except I wouldnt wish their fate on anyone)

Oh I haven't been this exiceted about a book since the last L.J Shadow Soul! Which I read when it came out! I had to order it from Germany cause they didn't have it yet in the Netherlands...

It was good. Quite intense and sad and emotional. But I had a few hang-ups with it. Without giving it away, the twist at the end annoyed me. It was unnecessary and just a forced happy ending. Did not like that. And the female main character needed a few slaps. But story-wise and writing style great.

I LOOOVE the gone series! Light was great, I just felt so sad over the way it ended. Interesting that he didn't go too deep into the Aftermath after the FAYZ ended.
