I agree with you, the movie looks great but I read City of Bones and was not that impressed. I pushed through, but it didn't inspire me to read it at all. I need more obvious romance, even if it's not overtly smutty (yes, you heard me right, I CAN go without smut).

Well, I just finished with Amanda Arista's "Diaries of an Urban Panther" trilogy, which reminded me of Charlaine Harris and Patricia Briggs' writing, and I just now started Kim Harrington's "Clarity".
