YES, it's so good!!! And so much stuff is happening!!!! Took me a bit to remember stuff from book 1 since a read so long ago LOL! But now I'm all good. Need to finish this Darkwood trilogy, The Existence trilogy, and The Parasol Protectorate series ARGH! So I can continue on with ALL the other series LMAO! Too many going on :D

Gabby, have you finished yet?? I really think Jem fans will be satisfied. Will fans?! Not so much. Or at least not entirely. I still enjoyed CP2 but there were things missing and my heart was broke by the end. I'm telling you, just keep reading. For me, it could've ended differently. If some things were added, I would have been more satisfied. It's still a 5 star book though, for the rest. I'll never get over this ending. :(

I really liked it. It was sweet and romantic, though a little heavy on the religious themes but I wasn't bothered too much by that.

They are both different! I think you should read HALF BLOOD first!!! It's by far my favorite JLA series!!! :)

They are written by the same author but the stories and characters are completely different. Obsidian is about Katy and Daemon and Half Blood has a character in it called Daimon but not the same guys at all ... author loves the name obviously lol

LC, is a series about aliens and is a series about...more mythology. But Half-Blood is far better in my opinion. The whole series is AMAZING!!!! You should definitely try that one. You won't be disappointed :)

Actually it's not a character with that name, it's the kind of "creature" they are. It's hard to explain exactly what their origin is. But yeah, the prequel is called Daimon because it's about the creatures themselves. Just to clarify. :)
