Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay so I finished Walking Disaster (Beautiful, #2) by Jamie McGuire late last night and fell in love all over again. Gah! Freaking love Travis. And OMG that epilogue was awesome. Opens the door to all kinds of future possibilities. Can't wait for Jamie to finish writing Trent's story! Started reading Find You in the Dark (Find You in the Dark, #1) by A. Meredith Walters super excited. Wish I had 3 sets of eyes so I could read faster and get to all of the books I'm dying to read already!

I really enjoyed it Laura. Loved the whole reversal on the man being the "escort" instead of the woman and the story was written tastefully and the characters had depth. Very satisfying.

You know, for me it wasn't like that. I didn't really feel put off by Abbi at all. I guess since I was still able to recall BD and remembered feeling that I so wanted to know how Travis was feeling and his thoughts so to finally get them in WD sort of rounded the whole story wonderfully for me. Throughout it I kept reminding myself that Abbi hadn't had an easy childhood, that she had her own emotional hang ups to deal with especially with her horrible excuse of a dad. And as much as I LOVE Travis, he was literally a man-whore as well as a pretty intense land mine himself with all his emotional suitcases to deal with. Quite a lot to take on and deal with. So I personally appreciated the fact that Abbi stood up for herself as best she could and didn't just rollover for Travis to wipe his ass with her LOL! I think that the fact that they were like magnets banging into each other is what made for such an intense and emotional read. Loved it. And now there's 2 books so we can love the story doubly LMAO!

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Oh that's awesome! I swear they're worth putting all the others on hold for. I'll be stalking your updates and swooning and crying with you. They're ridiculously emotional but an incredible, unforgettable journey. The novella is short so once you read that, jump into LitS right away. It's the best ending to a series I've read. And so bittersweet.

Another so-so blog read, but I at least survived through Goddess Legacy (Goddess Series, #1) by M.W. Muse . Nothing to write home about, definitely geared more toward a young reader with a prudish romance.

Loving Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake of course, and I started Almost Eighteen (Wilson Mooney, #1) by Gretchen de la O today which could go either way! LOL

Yes Laura I can already tell that FYitD is going to be a very intense heartbreaking read for me so I stopped at half point and started The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter for LotU which is a series I planned to start this month plus it's for our monthly challenge. But I have a friend who's bipolar and it's an emotional roller coaster for her loved ones. Me not so much as she's my friend but still I get to witness and partake of what this condition entails and my heart breaks just little over and over every time :( she's good about taking her meds though especially being married and having 2 kids. I knew someone who was a cutter and that was devastating to witness but she was more an acquaintance than really a friend, but still. So this book is going to be a bit hard to get through for me.

The fact that Walters made this story so realistic with unforgettable characters that you really love is what made love this series that much more.
