Yeah, I kind of wasn't expecting THAT and my jaw fell on the floor and I had to go and pick it up and try to reattach it, except I couldn't concentrate on that because I was too riveted to the chapter because I have never read anything like that in my life and I think my eyes may have bled...

but I sure as hell loved the book!

LOL! I think that chapter got that reaction a lot. I have read quite a bit to but I must say that is well a little more something. Not only did my eyes bleed but my cheeks were so rosey red you could have lit a match.

You know, I'm quite sure that scene wasn't written for straight guys, but I couldn't turn away...like a huge car accident...it was fascinating beyond all measure in its utter and complete depravity.:)

No wonder Taryn was wiped out the next morning!

BTW, when they all did it as wolves, that doesn't count as beastiality because they were all beasts at the time, right?

Hmm, not sure it wasn't written with straight guys in mind. It is the unknown that enthralls you, not knowing what will happen how it will happen. Most of the time people act like these things don't excite but if they were honest it does.

Oh Wow, no I don't think it would count since they were of the same species.

I don't know...if it were 5 (or is it 6?) girls and just one guy, that might be more my speed (not that I would ever partake of such a thing because I am happily married and rather innocent and such).

But I will admit it was fascinating. Guys don't generally read erotica - we're much more visually oriented, which is we're more likely to gravitate towards porn (this is a scientifically proven fact btw). However, the internet has probably corrupted lots of women by now.

I literally felt the way you described and more and I swear I have read a lot of books and never in my life have I come across a scene like that before ever and it is like watching a car accident or train wreck or what ever else you can think of where you are horrified at what you are seeing/reading but you can't turn away at all!! Wright is a brilliant writer and her ability to suck you in (no pun intended) and keep you wanting more even if it is a bit much then what you expected is beyond brilliant. Still, the tamer version of Chapter 17 was still ahem eye popping LOL

I have to agree, in the original version when it's gearing up for Trey to have his way with her however he wants, even THAT was not what I would have imagined in a million years. But I still loved it, and I applaud Suzanne for both versions because she brings on the sexy like only so many can!!

A very unwelcome stomach bug made prepping for the holiday weekend quite a challenge, so my reading had to be shelved for a couple of days. I finally finished The Collector (Dante Walker, #1) by Victoria Scott and it was definitely different in a good way. Didn't wow me and it dragged a bit in parts, but it was interesting enough to entice me to keep reading the series.

Also got to finish The Prelude (A Musical Interlude Novel) by KaSonndra Leigh which was another great story from KaSonndra!!

Once I catch up on reviews, I'm curling up with Sweet Oblivion (The Sweet Series #1) by Bailey Ardisone and Eternal Rider (Lords of Deliverance, #1) by Larissa Ione for Smut Monday (yes, FINALLY starting this series)!! More Larissa Ione...EEEP!!!
