Oh Sylvia you must. And the other wonderful thing is that the good narrators will use differnt intonations for the different character voices and it's wonderful. Especially when there are accents, so great. I've loved so many of the audios I've listened to. I'm most definitely hooked LOL!

Have you read Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost series? The narrator is fabulous! Can't say enough about her. Oh and Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs , that series is also terrific. Laurili (spelling?) King has done many many audios and her voice is awesome.

Yep the narrator for The Night Huntress series books is fantastic! It's one of the first ones I purchased right away from audible.com. All of the people I know that have listened to audiobooks say the same thing about her. The other great absolutely awesome narrator is the lady that reads the In Death series by H.D. Robbs. I listened to the first one after several people recommended it and yes she's wonderful. Does all of the different accents and voices for each character. I'm looking forward to listening to the Mercy Thompson series then. Thanks for the recommendation. I really enjoyed the audios of Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer Slammed (Slammed, #1) by Colleen Hoover Point of Retreat (Slammed, #2) by Colleen Hoover Beautiful Bastard (Beautiful Bastard, #1) by Christina Lauren Feral Sins (The Phoenix Pack, # 1) by Suzanne Wright The Iron Knight (Iron Fey, #4) by Julie Kagawa A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2) by Kresley Cole Shadow of Night (All Souls Trilogy, #2) by Deborah Harkness Naked in Death (In Death, #1) by J.D. Robb all these were fantastic :)

Anyone else heading up to Boston for the Boston Author Event, or know someone heading there??! I'll be there and I can't freaking wait!!

I'm meeting one of my GR gals up there for the first time, too- so grateful that I joined the masses of book addicts on here!! I know we gripe and complain about the problems that pop up here and there, so I'm taking the opportunity to say how much I love GR and getting to know everyone on here!! Thanks for making books so much more fun, guys!! ;-)

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Okay I just bought Leo (Sign of Love, #1) by Mia Sheridan earlier today on impulse. I was reading some reviews and it sounded great. So I bought it at 3 this afternoon, started it and couldn't put it down for a second. I took my kids to the movies where I read on my kindle the whole time, ignoring the kids' movie. I just finished. I read this in 12 hours, off and on. Amazing read. That doesn't happen- I can read a book in a day but not 12 hours. Now it's like 5 am I need to sleep.

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Laura, I haven't read that one. But I read the blurb and it sounds slightly similar but there's a twist in this story, which I had my theory and it was right. But it's definitely worth checking out. It's just a quick, emotional read with broken characters that are lovable. The writing is easy to follow too.

Yes, this story is so sad. But the book community has been amazing with this book. I am seeing it everywhere. I was lucky enough to read an ARC. Very cute book.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay finished Crewel (Crewel World, #1) by Gennifer Albin and it was okay. A shame that it wasn't great since it had all of the elements to be great. But fell flat. I think that the author tried to grab too many things at once and ram them into not enough pages. Such a unique premise, just rushed and clipped. 3.5 star read for me. Now starting Poison Princess (The Arcana Chronicles, #1) by Kresley Cole
