I this about mermaids? My sister read a book about a mermaid named Hannah.

message 22141: by Bridget (new)

Bridget | 1517 comments No. They call themselves daughters of the sea. There is some Greek mythology. Mainly there are groups of descendants that are able to control different things of the sea. Really different. I was hooked the whole way through.

Well Sylvia, you need to get you some ear thingys and start listening to your books on audio. I get audiobooks on my phone from my sisters library, I get cd;s from my library and I joined audible (thanks to Belkis). That way you don't miss out when you get busy. Lately I haven't felt much like reading so I have been listening a lot. Hope that isn't a trend though because I love to read.

It's the best thing EVER! I'm so happy now that I can listen to books while I work. With the piles of books that I want to read and the limited time to do it, this new option is just sheer happiness. Plus with working on a computer all day long my eyes get such a beating especially with xtra long days, plus long commutes, listening to books is saving my eyes in a huge way. I still read in the evenings and weekend so it's the best :)

I have been listening to audiobooks for years but I am just now venturing out with them. I use to only get them from my library but then I started getting from my sisters library and I don't even have to get in my car. I have heard about audible but just didn't know much about it. I did buy Frost Burned from there and I'm done already. It's sad but that's a whole different story. Anyway thanks for explaining it Belkis.
