Not always, depends on how long it is. If it's around 200 I can get it in one day, but I've had some 400+ pagers lately that really cut into my checking off the list! LOL

I just don't understand why an author would do this. Can any of you authors explain to me? It probably could be a good novel, so why not wait to complete the book and put it out as one? That just ticks me off. Please tell me this isn't a growing trend!

Oh yeah, I totally understand that. Once you start reading them, you will want to read them back to back. So yeah, best to get time dedicated to this series only. LOL but it will be worth the wait!! :)

Yeah, I got 2 ARCs of books I've been dying to get my hands on and both are over 400 pages, so it's been rough getting to the ones everyone raves about on here lately!!

Yeah, I don't mind the novellas per se as long as they're well-written, but the prices are ridiculous for such short stories. I try to remind myself that if I were to try and sit down to write 70 pages and make it a really intriguing story (which some of them really are), I'd want to make something off of it for all that work. But when you can buy full-length novels for as little as $.99, some well over 400 pages and some that are incredible stories, it doesn't make sense.

LOL So sorry!!!!! I just didn't expect to LOVE this book so much. I was surprised. I don't like scary ghost shit all that much, but yeah....forget my fears. I'm doomed. LOL

I just remembered Halle is one of the authors in Boston, I ordered Darkhouse in print for her to sign! LOL In my defense, I ordered so many from amazon to take with me that I've forgotten what half of them were. =)

That's really a rip-off chopping the stories up like that, it's an underhanded way of scamming more money off the readers!

Yep, I read S&N shortly after release, I couldn't resist. I want to read the prequel, I just hate backtracking in a story when there are so many books that are progressing in a series!

It's kind of a chunkster but it is really good. Eona is a lot longer than this one but I am going to read it anyway. Actually, Eon has been on my TBR for a while and I'm not real sure why I haven't read it before now.

I bought

Cool Rebecca, I'm glad you liked Eona. I am almost done with Eon and it has turned out better than I expected. Poor Eon though, she has gone through plenty to be soo young.
