Yeah Tracy, sadly. Haven't had a moment of contentment with this one and I'm sadly halfway through so I highly doubt it will change but I'll still finish it. The one that I'm seriously really loving is Blood Vine by Amber Belldene . I hope the author continues the story into a series or trilogy because the story is great and the characters are freaking fantastic. I can see this turning into another Elemental Mysteries obsession for me :) LOVING IT!

Oh you're going to have to spoil it for me, or someone is, because I swore off this series but I want to know what happened to my Alex!! I HATED the sequel b/c of that crappy plot switch-up, so I won't be reading this anyway...tell me on FB! LOL

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay it's super late for me considering it's almost 3:00am for me and I have to go to work in a few hours but damn, I just couldn't put Blood Vine by Amber Belldene down until I finished it. It was so good! Loved it and can't wait for the next book which I'm hoping this author writes and continues this very interesting vampire story. Loved the story. Loved the characters. Loved the writing. So happy with this one. Reminded me a little of J.R. Ward's BDB with a little hint of Elisabeth Hunter's Elemental Mysteries. Yay, happy book dance.

No, it wasn't really an ending. It was too flat. No questions answered, very noncommittal. A disappointment for sure.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay finished up Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1) by Wendy Higgins and definitely not for me. So slow. Never got any better. Bored me to tears. The premise was fresh, the world building was interesting, but the pace was brutal and Anna was just to bland for me. So, onto the next Red Cover attempt LOL! That's how I felt and I didn't even read the second book (I skipped to the end when I saw what was happening). I hated Lena, and now from what Brooke has told me I'm SO glad I didn't bother reading on. Such a major flop in plot twists, can't believe she did that.

Almost done with The Education of Sebastian (The Education of..., #1) by Jane Harvey-Berrick and wow...I know what's going to happen, and it's making me really angry with Caroline already. Going to need to read the sequel very soon, for sure.

Next up will be Give Me Something by Elizabeth Lee because Elizabeth asked and I LOVED her first book so I'm excited, then Flight (The Crescent Chronicles, #1) by Alyssa Rose Ivy , Recalled (Death Escorts, #1) by Cambria Hebert , and True Love Story by Willow Aster hopefully quickly so I can get to Smut Monday on time next week!! =)

Out of the norm for me since it's cop/mystery book but the two main characters are wonderful. Nora Roberts did a great job penning the chemistry between Eve & Roarke. Now I understand the appeal with this series and the fact that readers seem to love it. It's up to like 36 books or something! Not 100% sure of what I'm going to read next.
