Yeah, but when you can catch the sales or the series is really good, I think it's absolutely worth it. And One Week GF was a great read, plus her second is going to be significantly longer. I loved this one, as far as indies go it's worth the cost! =)

Glad you loved Drew and Fable, I can't wait to get more of them!! Not too long of a wait at least, unlike some of these year-longs! Ugh.

Hope you enjoy Boy Next Door, it's definitely a refreshingly different story.

It didn't grab me right away either. I had an ARC so I pushed through, and I ended up enjoying it in the end. It's just a heavier read and takes some getting used to.

Okay, so don't hate me but I have to say Sweet Peril (The Sweet Trilogy, #2) by Wendy Higgins was absofreakinglutely incredible!! Totally swooning over this series all over again, I love it! Can't wait for all of my fellow book addicts to read this one!

Started Beautiful Bastard (Beautiful Bastard, #1) by Christina Lauren last night and despite some bad reviews I'm loving this. Very sexy!!

Moving on to an ARC of The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise , then Here Be Sexist Vampires (Deep In Your Veins, #1) by Suzanne Wright because I'm totally fangirling over Suzanne Wright!!

Yup Laura, I was thinking the same thing. By the time we finish reading some of these books that are string along in pieces we're going to end up paying the same as we do for one long regular book. Hopefully they'll be worth it.

LOL Monica said Second Chance is still on for April 2 at this point, so not too far! The months just fly by at this point for me, so anything under 4 months is like a blink of a an eye! =) She's lined up for an interview with us late April, which works out well with her book release!

I'll shoot Bella a message and see, I'm not sure where she's at with the sequel. I've been chatting with her via twitter, FB, email, and GR b/c she's been doing interviews and blog posts like a fiend. Okay, I am baffled by the Beautiful Bastard (Beautiful Bastard, #1) by Christina Lauren bashing that I've seen on GR!! I absolutely loved this! HOT HOT HOT and super feisty up-against-the-wall, over-the table, in-the-elevator, anywhere-we-can-get-it steamy scenes that turned into a really tender romance story...what's not to love??!!

Anywho, I'm onto The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise , which I don't have a whole lot of interest in but it was a free ARC, so here goes! =)

message 21079: by Eager (new)

Eager Reader (TheEagerReader) | 24 comments Erin, from what I've heard a lot of the bashing stemmed from it originally being a Twilight fanfic? I've seen that with other former fanfics too - obviously 50 Shades but also Sempre and some others.

Yeah I saw that, but again, WTH am I missing? LOL Maybe I'm off on my own little cloud with these. I suppose if any of these fanfics actually made me feel like I was reading a D-list version of a better book or that they had ANYTHING remotely to do with the actual characters from said book, I might not like them. I just take it on as an entirely new story because I just don't see it! ;-)
