I really enjoyed this one though I'm finding book 2 a little slow for my liking ... I found that with VA series it did the same i.e. some books great, while others were so so but the series were great

Marrie Maybe it's just because I'm still stuck on TIS, but I'm having a really hard time getting back into Rise (Nightshade Prequel, #2) by Andrea Cremer It just seems a lot slower than Rift. Has anyone else read it? Does it pick up?

I had actually read Sawyer and Lana's story first and totally fell for Sawyer. I don't think he comes off as likable in The Vincent Boys.

Good to know guys. :P I read the regular The Vincent Boys (The Vincent Boys, #1) by Abbi Glines , but then I read the extended sequel, The Vincent Brothers Extended and Uncut (The Vincent Boys, #2) by Abbi Glines , so what I remember most was the explicit content, but the romance didnt really stay with me as much as the angst in Vincent Boys.

Tiana411 | 701 comments I'm having a hard time getting into The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater . I'm a little disappointed so far. It's more like someone "telling " a bedtime story rather than reading a book, if that makes any sense. I'm not used to this style of writing. I'm trudging along slowly, and normally I'd be done!

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay so finished One Week Girlfriend (Drew + Fable, #1) by Monica Murphy which I really liked. Loved the raw intensity of Fable & Drew's relationship and the story was charged and moving. But damn, another freaking book with a continuation to it!! Argh! Now we need to read the next one to find out what's going to happen with them. Oh well. Then read The Party (The Propostion, #0.5) by Katie Ashley was okay though I felt it wasn't really necessary or that interesting so thank goodness it was a freebie. Then read Surrender (Paula's Place, part 2) by James Wood which was just as good as part 1. Now starting The Boy Next Door by Annabelle Costa in hopes of cute, romantic, funny and fresh. Need a change up :)
