Just a bit. The actual races are only maybe 20 pages though, near the end. It's definitely not a very action packed book. I really loved it, but that's cause I really love Maggie's writing and I felt like I was just chillin on Thisby haha.

I can't say without giving away too much but it's a love triangle book and I don't like the triangle and I don't like the way the lead female acts and....I am disgruntled. The problem is, it's very well written and engaging and even though it is making me angry, I can't stop reading it! I suppose that is the sign of a good author :)

It's definitely not YA. The sex scenes aren't..explicit but definitely too graphic to be considered YA, just a forewarning. I thought it was YA until I got to the first 'heated' scene and went 'whoa' lol.

Right now, I'm reading by Patrick Rothfuss. It's beautifully written, and the story is so good. It isn't YA, but I would definitely suggest it to everyone.
