Not quite as much as book 1, but I adored Sebastian. He was overbearing at times, but man, what a sweetie! And yet, he was still quite fierce. I liked Kaderin a lot, too. I did. I read it last year and loved it. The writing is great and the story is so intelligently revealed. The characters are wonderfully developed and has a nice dry humor. Liked that the premise for this story is so unique. Can't wait for the next book Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin, #2) by R.L. LaFevers to come out in April. It is a bit long and little slow in parts so not for everyone. Maybe read the first few chapters before committing to it in case you don't like it unless you can get it for really cheap. I bought it when it released and paid around $9 for it but since I loved it it turned out to be totally worth it.
