Definitely read a few reviews before you pick up Taking Chances if you haven't already, it's not for everyone. It got 1 star from me.

It is a little pricey; catch it on a sale, it's likely to happen to get the sales ticking up at some point.

I loved every character and it was such a really well put together storyline! I love when I finish a book and still feel wrapped up in it even though I've came to the end. I was finally able to finish reading
this weekend and man it was disturbing! Never read anything like it *shudders* Pretty good though!
Ok ladies, so Im like 86% into
and this is an adult read that I really must say has a very strong backbone to its storyline! It's more than just your average smexy but is very heartwrenching at this point. Cant deny that I've enjoyed the hell out of this book!!!

YUP! You said it..I think in some cases, if people know an author personally, it's hard to give an unbiased review..Goodreads is both good and bad for that. I mean, we get to interact with our favorite authors which is SO great, but then I think it "skews" the ratings a bit.Belkis wrote: "Yup and so many 5 star reviews??? I mean the writing was still solid and I liked what she did with Soren as well as reintroducing Marran (hope I got his name right) and I appreciated the additional character insights into Perry but everything else was frustrating and found the book to drag in portions. And don't even want to get into Roar, Liv, Cinder crap. As well as the fact that we only got to have Aria & Perry together for like 5 minutes! Hopefully book 3 will get back on track and be closer to the awesomeness that was book 1. "

I just finished
, the sequel to
. For those who've read it, you know it's a great adult faery book, with a great story, lots of action, romance, with a tolerable love-triangle and a strong heroine. The sequel was just as great, except it took awhile for the romance to come back into the picture, and it had a sad ending. But OMG that ending! I can tell the next book will focus on the romance more than the last two and settle love-triangle once and for all. I don't know if its a trilogy, but I hope so. I don't want to have to wait any longer for Mckenzie and Aren to get their HEA. And the will get one!
David wrote: "I finished

I'm glad someone finally addressed the topic of suicide in after a horrific family tragedy (though I'm glad sshe didn't do it, because where would the series go then?). But it seems like in most books, everyone in the character's life dies, they are completely alone, and they resign themselves to living in misery forever. But if a boook wants to be realistic, sometimes they have to address thaqt this becomes an option, especially to young people. I would never want it to actually happen in a stoory, but it's out there, it's real, and sometimes should be talked about.
