Belyse | 4 comments Is the Uglies series from Scott Westerfeld any good? I'm considering buying them but I don't usually like dystopian novels.

I'm waiting for all of the books to be out for both Significance & The Premonition series before I dive into either one as well as for the Half-Blood series. I just can't do the waiting around for another series to finish up so not starting any of the ones I've managed to compile :)

Ugh, for the Covenant series I say that's a good idea, the endings have been killer!! Significance is done, but I'm like you; I need to finish up so many other series, I'm hesitant to start new ones. I start them and love them, then they get shoved aside and practically forgotten under the mass!! LOL

Holy crap, she cut it down that much and they're still that long?! May need to rethink that series, then. I'm over starting books that drone on incessantly for hundreds of pages; if it's over 350 pages, it's gotta be GREAT for me to read it from now on!!

Yeah the heroine in Unravel Me was such a turn-off for me with her slobbish attitude and self-absorbed personality, and the writing seriously lacked. Complete 180 degree difference with this one, so I'm looking forward to her others. I'll have to check out Make Me Yours soon!

I'm thinking it's a nice combination Annie. She'll probably move the story forward and give us some back tracking from the other first books from Will's POV. That's what I'm thinking and hoping. I read some teasers on her website a while back when she first announced that she was writing it and what I read lead me to believe this. But who knows. Whatever it ends up being though, I'm sure it will blow us away and we'll be in LOVE like always with her books :)
