It was frustrating for awhile there, but there's a lot of action in the end and a really unsettling part to get through. Opal was great though, you need to get to it! LOL

Shelly | 959 comments Ok so I just finished The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #1) by Jessica Sorensen which ended with my jaw dropping to tha damn floor! So, I'm trying to decide on what to read next Wait For Me by Elisabeth Naughton , Tidal by Emily Snow , Ten Tiny Breaths (Ten Tiny Breaths, #1) by K.A. Tucker or Switch by Megan Hart

message 18705: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (dragonbee13) So I am going to read Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn next since my cousin recommended it to me and we have similar tastes. She said it was a dark story and those tend to be my favorite kind lol. Hope it's good!

So I flew through One Foot in the Grave (Night Huntress, #2) by Jeaniene Frost today because I just couldn't break away from Bones and Cat like that, and it was incredible!! Even better than the first, and HOLY crap....chapter 32....chapter 32....*faints*

So I'm forcing myself to step away from this amazing series for a moment so I can finally read When Silver Moons Rise (Lost Immortals, #2) by KaSonndra Leigh , but I'll probably read At Grave's End (Night Huntress, #3) by Jeaniene Frost after that. =)

I discovered this amazing series 2 years ago and flew through the books thst were published at that point and look forward to them always for all new releases. One of the best couples in a pnr series. And yes, chapter 32 in book 2 is pure fire LOL!

Finished it last night. I'm still not sure how I feel about it.It was different. I found myself skimming alot. You get to what happened about halfway through then it gets twisted and weird.

But it is definitely worth the read. especially because, as a refreshing change of pace, NEITHER MC comes across as an idiot. They have their troubles because troubles find them, not because they're stupid.

I read this one a while back Kait and I really ended up loving it. But I think, if I recall correctly, that at the beginning it took me a bit to get invested in the story and the characters but it kind of creeps on on you at a certain point. At least it did for me and then I was a goner for the gently simmer of the lovely writing and beautiful story.
