It's true that this doesn't really compared to other dystopians out there. The dystopian world hardly even matters. It's just the setting for the romance. Thats what I love about it. It's absolute focus on Cassia and Ky, who are adorable. It's a very innocent romance, so it's definitely not for everyone. But I think it's beautiful and I love it. :)

Yup Rebecca that's what's different about this trilogy. The fact that it is focused on the main characters and their feelings. It's almost like the dystopian elements are a backdrop for the romance developing slowly between the them. I did appreciate that about the story and want to find out what happens to them so will be reading books 2 & 3. I've read some of the reviews for both and I'm looking forward to reading them.

I just finished Reached and I liked it a lot better then the second one. Although, I will admit Matched is still my favorite out of the trilogy.

It did lack the romantic spark but I really enjoyed this because it reminded me constantly of Supernatural and you all know how obsessed I am over that show and one Dean Winchester RAWR

I thought the lack of romance was kind of refreshing. Although I do foresee more of it in Tribulation.

I loved this book! I got an ARC from the publisher and wasn't really sure if I would like it but when I started I couldn't put it down! I get to meet Bracken next weekend and I'm SO excited!

LOL! Well, this one I picked up b/c I'm meeting the author next Saturday. I figured I would get the book read by that time. I wasn't expecting to read it so fast. I did have a few technical issues with the book, but I overlooked them b/c it moved so fast!
