I actually thought the second one was better than the first. I was a bit bored with the first. Although the second did drag with all that hiking and traveling. I hope this one is good. I am not in love with this series as far as writing is concerned. It's just ok in my book. I got Reached as soon as it came out but have yet to read it. And it's LONG!

Cool, thanks for the heads up on book 2 looking forward to it even more. I agree with you on all points on this trilogy. The writing is decent but not great and the story is interesting enough but in comparison with the others in this genre it's one of the weaker dystopians for sure. I will definitely try and get them out of the way this year just to call this one finished.

Exactly, the smell is irreplaceable and books don't hurt as much as an iPad falling on your face when you loose your grip. I'm telling its happened a lot with my iPad and hurts way more than a paper book lol :)

You know, I read Rapture and it was just meh for me. Could not get invested in the story or the main character for some reason. And the fight scenes got a little repetitive and boring. Found it to be lacking something. Needed a romance, a love interest, something to give it spark for me. Was so disappointed as I was so looking forward to it when I bought it. Sounded so amazing in the book blurb. I barely made it through, ended up having to skim the last half of the book :(
