Thank you Erin, you did a very great service to me here. There are some series that get so much reading traffic and huge following that I find myself on the fence debating whether or not to cave in and read them. For me it's more about my reading time since it's limited and I absolutely hate it when I cave and start reading a series which my gut instinct tells me I will not like, but I cave anyway going against my gut and then end up HATING it. This is one of those instances so THANK YOU :) I will stick to my gut feeling and forego reading this series for I honestly don't think it'll be to my liking. I hate it when I read a series where I strongly dislike the main character or characters. And that's another issue I've read in several reviews about the female lead in this series as well. Yay, totally skipping this one.
So, I finished all 3 of the books that I had ordered from my library this week,

, and all 3 were awesome! I have one more on its way,
, but its not here yet. And my husband needs to do something with my iPad, but I am not gonna go without reading for 4 days, so if Shattered Dark hasnt arrived by the time I am done work today, I am gonna have to go to the library and just pick something off their shelf. I havent done that in ages!

Yup, you're correct Laura. This series is up to 5 books now. I read the first 4 a while back and luckily didn't have too wait too long as I discovered the series when the first 3 books had been released so only had to wait for book 4 and didn't even realize she was continuing on to a book 5 as she did a great job of tying everything up nicely in book 4. But loved them so very happy and can't wait to read book 5 :)

..nice mix of historical and contemporary. Susanna Kearsley is really good at that.
I finished Slammed by Colleen Hoover, which I gobbled up in a day. And I'm on to the sequel, Point of Retreat!!! Omg I love Will Cooper!!!!!! *sigh*

I finally finished reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater--which I was very disappointed in. I guess I had high expectations for this book and it didn't reach it. I also thought it was a waste of my time. :(I'm now reading Surrender by Elana Johnson.

I feel like it's such an disservice if I don't insist that people read these. Honestly the writing is outstanding and the stories are simply magical and awe inspiring.
