Just finished and over the weekend. It was so good! I can't wait for the next one. Currently reading . So far its not bad, but I feel like this storyline is so redundant.

It's not emotionally traumatic in the romance department, just with what (view spoiler)[ Alex has to endure. Think daemon tagging from Half-Blood times 1000...I need a TUMS!! (hide spoiler)]. You definitely should throw in a light read between them, I'm putting off Up to Me while I read a light romance after this one. I need to recover!! LOL

Daemon is definitely one of the highlights of the book!

Is Armentrout's other series just as amazing?

I don't know Nicole, I have only read the Lux series. I have heard that the others were great and I am going to read them I just need to read something light right now.

I plan to but are they like really heart breaking? I can't do heart breaking right now. I finished Opal and cried for a day and 1/2. I have to wait until July to get over that cliffhanger I am hanging on. Then a friend (Erin) said that I would read many books in between and it would take the pain away. So on the insistence of many I read and wha-la I'm done! Can't read anything with any kind of emotion.

I can't wait to read them but I need to wait a few more days so I'm not, as Sylvia said, still under the fog of Hopeless. Would hate to ruin an excellent series because I can't get past my last book.

The Covenant series is absolutely JLA's best series. She's poured her heart and soul into this one, it's ten times better than Lux and I LOVE the Lux series. Can't recommend it strongly enough, and if you like the Lux series you will LOOOOOOVE the Covenant series!!! :-)

Okay Tracy *waves hands in the air* you MUST read the Covenant series!!! The storyline is much more captivating, you'll fall in love with the characters, and the love story is absolutely beautiful!! The heroine Alex is my #1 fave, and YES there's a hottie in there (well, two if you count Seth, but he's just eye candy) that gives Daemon a serious run for his money! Best of JLA's work by far!
