Miss Fortune Cookie by Lauren Bjorkman an ARC I received for a blog tour. So far it's cute, not completely entertaining tho. Not much happening.

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 257 comments Finished Dreaming Awake (Falling Under, #2) by Gwen Hayes and ended up enjoying it more than I had expected despite how much the character frustrated me in the first half of the book. I guess it was a lot like how they acted in the first book. The second half was much better. It seems to be the end of the series. I hope so. It ended on a good spot, even if it leaves some questions. I didn't feel like those questions had to be answered in some sort of absolute. It's an HEA (or as much of one as these characters can get, considering the situation), so I'd say it's safe to assume things work out for the best.

Starting Ceaseless (Existence Trilogy, #3) by Abbi Glines . Time to see how this ends.

Got lots of reading done over the holiday! FINALLY got around to reading The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay and it was of course completely addicting and I loved it until I finished at 3 in the morning!! Wish it could go on, that ending wasn't enough after all that torture!!

Read Blood Singers (Blood, #1) by Tamara Rose Blodgett which ended up being very different but a decent read, and Rock the Heart (Black Falcon, #1) by Michelle A. Valentine was just awesome hot steamy goodness wrapped in a smoking-hot Adam Levine rock god!!! Yowza!! Can't wait for that sequel!!

Can't go wrong with either!! SOT is a slower-paced and emotionally taxing read (in a very good way), and EON is more of a steamy, heartbreaking story. Depends on which you're looking to dive into!

At first I'm planning to read The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski first after YA books in a row but then I think I need a slow-paced and emotionally read after dystopian and light contemporary YA. So, I'm confused now. Why I can't choose between two good books?

message 16289: by Annie (new)

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Well for one-they are so similar in the development and characters-along with the plotline. Then also the fact that they are both so emotional, but I think EON is more emotionally gutwrenching. So once you finish TSOT, you can get right on EON and not be too drained. But if you did the other way, you'd be too beat down to start it. So honestly-it doesn't matter which you start first because they are both equal in quality-it's just TEON is SO MUCH more emotional, you'll be down for a couple of days!

My fave too! And I don't know where it's going to go from there either. I heard rumors about it being about Kishan and Durga in the past but I don't think that's going to happen...Doesn't seem right to me since the whole series was from Kelsey's POV. But then again it could go like the Iron Fey series and have the last book in a different POV...

I would be ok with that. Actually, that sounds like the best idea for a book 5, but even better would be no book 5 imo.
