I love second-hand bookstores! We don't have any new bookstores over here, and unfortunately the second hand ones are a bit more pricey because of it :)
I hope you enjoy the book! The series is a bit odd and definitely different from normal vampire series!

Lol, I just finished reading it just now. I'm totally addicted! I'm surprised because I wasn't sure I'd like it after the first 2 books but this is fast becoming high on my list of favourites. I can say I like it better than Vampire Academy!!

YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY I knew you'd change your mind. This book showed a whole new swoony side to Aiden. I've always been Team Aiden...can't stand Seth and never did. BUT OMG THIS BOOK WAS PERFECTION!!!

Oh you'll definitely be cheering on Aiden after this one!! I was so torn between them before Deity, but even though there is still a part of me that loves the bad boy, Seth's not even on my radar for Alex!!

I read Half-Blood before I read the first VA book, and to me VA's characters were nowhere near as good as JLA's. And to me there was a lot more creativity involved in making the Covenant series, it's an amazing story across all of the books!!

I know you're a devoted VA fan, I don't know if it's b/c I read Covenant first or just that I don't connect with the VA characters as much. I just didn't like Rose and Dimitri didn't really blow me away like Aiden. It's all opinion, though, so it's a good thing for us there are parallel series so we're both happy! LOL

Reflected was a big disappointment for me, I hate to say. LOTS of great sexy scenes, but not much else, unfortunately. Really hope she picks things up in the 3rd, I loved Bared!!

Finished fantastic! Then read also fantastic! Can't wait for book 2 to release :) now reading so good! Also reading and there are just no words for the level of magic that Laini Taylor creates within her writing. Honestly, the woman is pure magic. I'm so in love with her books and loving this second one as much as I loved :)
