I read half a long time ago, so now I am where they have been rescued and headed home. Anxious to see where it goes from here.

I had a hard time with the beginning of Under the Never Sky too. There was so much going on that I didn't understand. But it definitely picked up and then I couldn't put it down

Octavia (octaviah) I finished Sanctum (Guards of the Shadowlands, #1) by Sarah Fine and I can't find a book good enough to follow it. Pure genius

message 15455: by Katie (new)

Katie (kayteaface) I'm reading The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater . I was completely lost as to what was happening at first, but now that I'm understanding better what's going on it's really enjoyable and intriguing.
I think it's one of those books that'll need a second read to really appreciate the story and comprehend everything.

It's definitely a heavier read, for sure!! But very unique and well-written.

Oh good lord, this is such a f*cking train wreck!! I can't say right now whether I absolutely hate it or am completely addicted to it. It went from just completely baffling morally to "WHAT THE F*CK!?" to making me want to ask the author if she's on crack, yet in the middle of all that there is some SERIOUSLY hot steamy sex that is so sinfully disturbing I can't stop reading. The whole caveman illiterate talk screams Kristen Ashley, whose writing drives me up the freaking wall, but the rest of it is so sickeningly inappropriate that it's calling to my inner dark side. LMAO

I'm not sure what I am, I'm so out of my mind baffled by this right now!! The men are all such freaking neanderthal bastards, and she's pretty much just gone off the deep end at 60% in!

Seriously. messed. up.

I need some hard alcohol once I'm done with this.

Stayed up late last night to finish Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan and I'm way on the fence with this one. This is one of those stories that's so wrong you just need to read it to be able to say you did!

I still think Tony Soprano grabbed Kristen Ashley in a back alley and said "hey, I've got a great idea for a story!" and held her at gunpoint to make her write it. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it! =D
