Yeah I am so sick of those stupid girls who bitch and moan all the time and act like a 2 year old when they have a fucking perfect guy bowing down to them and kissing their friggin ass. It makes me sick. Katy was getting on my nerves the way Kiera was so I gave up, sadly. I love Daemon though but I can't see him getting hurt and shit all over.

I read the first two in this series but haven't gotten to the third. If you've already bought it, it's worth the read and I really liked it. But if you haven't and you're trying to decide, don't rush out to get it. Compared to what we've been reading lately, it's like PG fantasy YA, so it's not going to hook you in as much.

She got on my nerves for awhile, too, especially when she was pushing Daemon away for what's-his-name. Buuuuuut, I ended up loving it and Armentrout seriously heated things up for them once all that was let go. And the last few chapters were action-packed, so I'm thinking that means good things for Opal. Don't give up yet, but I understand that you aren't interested ATM. Daemon will call to you again someday!!! =)

That's funny, I stood in front of my shelves this evening and told my girls I absolutely had to start reading some of the books. I told them to pick one for me, they liked Grave Mercy! Kait Officially started The Iron Daughter (The Iron Fey, #2) by Julie Kagawa .

Does anyone else find it kind of hard to get reallly into these strictly YA novels after reading such hot and heavy novels?

I recently finished While It Lasts (Sea Breeze, #3) by Abbi Glines and good lord, I don't know if I can deal with NO action.

Nope. I much prefer YA. Adult may be hotter but I rarely feel like the characters have any connection. YA is much more romantic.

I agree. I love the adult genre but I find that YA is just more my style. Yes the steaminess is great but I read way more YA than adult and that's just how I like it!

It depends on the series, I think. I picked up the entire Strange Angels series, and I'm having to force myself back to it because there is really nothing in the way of romance or steamy moments going on between the characters. I'm probably going to end up skimming just so I feel like I didn't waste the money.

I feel the same for the Starcrossed and Unearthly, there's just not enough progression in their love stories for me. I lean more towards books like Amy Bartol's, Armentrouts, etc., they aren't so restricted. There can be some steaminess without it being completely out of the YA range!!
