Oh it is but it gets better...in the end you'll feel all warm and fuzzy and maybe cry tears of joy. Its definitely poetic and heartwarming....

OHHHHHH, you're in for a great treat!!! It's sad at the beginning and I was scared for heartache the whole way, but there is hope and it's a beautiful ending that leaves you feeling elated and bittersweet! :)

I am trying to be careful with my books choices. Before, I used to read anything, and I figured, if I end up not liking it, no big deal, it only takes up 2 days of my time and then I can be on to the next one. But after reading several bad ones I decided this isnt a good method. So, I am reading
cuz its pretty popular, and I am enjoying it so far. And I think I will read
next. It got great ratings from my friends.

I've been wondering about Seraphina. I've just recently gotten interested in high fantasy. Putting it on my tbr! I've heard good things about Grave Mercy too.

I love both ... Seraphina is a great tale with a unique dragon lore ... and Grave Mercy ... ahhh if you like political intrigue that book is for you!!!

I have all of the Heaven and Hell books too but have yet to read them. So they're good huh Laura? I've heard from many readers that they're good. I need to find time to read them eventually too.

Everyone was cheating on each other and nobody seemed to have any real remorse about it. I didn't thoroughly understand their relationship either(aside from the physical) I don't know, Thoughtless is one of my favorite books and shares some of the same themes....however, Kiera's wishy-washiness and Kellan's sluttiness were totally forgivable. I'd love to know what you think after you read it.

LMAO, no kidding, I started out with the Twilight-similar books and have gone all over the freaking map!!! You really can't go wrong with Showalter, and this one was the first in a series of 9 books. Be sure to try out the first in her new series Angels of the Dark
