I know it's very depressing
Well I finished
and loved it because Rose and Dimitri rediscovered each other but unfortunately at the expense of poor Adriana...she led him only to use him I thought that was very wrong and cruel of Rose but she was always meant to be with Dimitri who I fell in love with more :) Now I can finally read
Yay I'm so excited :)

I just finished
. Curious to read its sequel. None of her follow-ups to Howl's Moving Castle quite lived up to the original, but a few of the Chrestmanci stories were as good as
. Overall, her books are some of my favorite light fantasy.

While the book has already been published as a series of short stories, and then as a compilation closer to a novel, it's nice ..."Marva, that looks like it's right up my alley! I'll probably have to wait until sometime next year to read it (no Kindle and no money-- darn you, Christmas!), but I'm putting it on my Wish List so I won't forget about it. :)
I'm currently reading The Clairvoyant by Marian Thurm (which is not a YA, but I don't think there's anything graphic in it). Not a fan of the style, but it's a relatively fast read and the story's okay. Not sure what I'll read next.
Ok I finally started
today and am loving it :)
@Taylor I loved A Discovery of Witches and really can't wait for Book 2

Just finished Inheritance last night and started on a few pages of The Darkest Road....once I'm done with that I'm thinking of reading something from Kresley Cole before following that up with Ysabel...that would finish all of Guy Gavriel Kay books for me...

You almost made my eyes pop....just got a mail saying Mariana commented on this group discussion and thought the world had turned upside down. Marianna is also my girlfriend's name and she is NOT a reader...not by a long shot....
I'm reading Clockwork Prince, Crossroads of Twilight, The Knife of Never Letting Go and Battle Royale. Only, I need to actually find where I put Knife of Never Letting Go as I really would like to read more of it.

I read The Knife of Never Letting Go about a two or three months back and I loved it so much I ended up finishing the other two books and the very short prequel in the next three days....

I'm currently reading the Septimus Heap series and I'm just about to finish Flyte by Angie Sage. Have any of you read this series? Thoughts?
Diana wrote: "Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare...though I have to admit that I'm trying to take my time with it because I just don't want it to end. Of course, I'm failing miserably."And thats the trap, isnt it? You read something great and you dont want it to end but you cant go slow either coz its just so good and you need to keep reading...fortunately there isnt a dearth of good books :)
Diana wrote: "Shaun wrote: "Diana wrote: "Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare...though I have to admit that I'm trying to take my time with it because I just don't want it to end. Of course, I'm failing miserab..."Yep, you can, but to be honest I've almost given up on re-reading books. I mean there are just so many great books out there. One lifetime is hardly enough to take it all in. Rereading doesnt sound like such a great idea in light of that, though yes, the heart does want to visit those old friends again :)
Im 100 pages into
and the way that Will keeps talking about books is serious turn on! I loooove Will. Im also reading
11 chapters and and its the kinda book you have to read until you done, so you can find out what happens. Im absolutely loving it.
ohhh Adriana two great reads for you! I wasnt going to read it until after chrissy but I have wanted to read it all year. So I just did.

I just finished Silver Phoenix
and am finishing Fury of the Phoenix
. The first one felt like a Percy Jackson installment except with Asian characters. However, I am LOVING the Fury of the Phoenix. Really unexpected and a different kind of book from the first. You can see the author Cindy Pon reaching her stride with this one.

Oh no, your not loving it."
Yeah, nothing about it is calm and pleasant. Its all desperate anxiety. Its kinda unsettling. Plus I am so used to paranormal that I miss it. I guess I am not a fan of realistic. I still plan to try some Simone Elkeles, Sarah Dessen, Stephanie Perkins type books before deciding.
