Amanda (snugshelf) Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier , Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton , & Mothership by Martin Leicht .
They're all great, in different ways. Mothership is funny & snarky. I'm not very far in to Everneath, but it's definitely got me intrigued. And Rebecca is gorgeous, and creepy.

message 11221: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Well then I'm currently about halfway through Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I haven't read the first book, because the woman at the counter of the book store had to 'guess' which one of the 4 books was the first (I hadn't discovered Goodread yet, so hence the mistake was made)
I always read the book I buy, weather I like it or not. I'm no fan of the game, I don't endorse 'beat-the-crap-out-of-virtual people' games (But I love it in books hehe)
But since it's book 2 I'm reading the story was hard to follow, only arriving on page 230-something, it kind of began to make sense. Anyone else read this one?

Oh good to know :) this is yet another trilogy I have waiting for me to get to so I'm happy to know it'll be awesome when I get to them later on. Haven't purchased Bitterblue yet though. So hopefully it turns out ti be a good ending for this trilogy otherwise it'll be a bummer for us readers. I hate it when conclusions suck cause then they sort of crap all over the good vibe of a great story.

All the books are semi-standalone though so it wouldnt upset me too much if Bitterblue wasnt as good. Katsa and Po, and Fire and Brigan already got their good endings. Even if Bitterblue doesnt. I have no idea if there is a romance in this one too. Is that who this Saf person is? A romantic interest for Bitterblue? I wouldnt be surprised since Kait likes the character, and Brigan and Po are totally swoon worthy.

I'm thinking Saf is the love interest. It hasn't really come around to that, but it's one of those obvious things. I'm just glad there's no triangle. I am getting so sick of love triangles! I usually end up liking the "wrong" guy.
