I wasn't sure so I looked at her website, and she mentions having her books published so I just didn't count it. Since I can't win the contest anyway I'm just doing it for fun and didn't press the issue, but obviously those hoping to use it for the count need to know. I'd assume you're correct, if it's a small publishing house it would apply to the indies.

yup its so freaking unfair that the ebook doesn't release until the 14th :( i mean it's just a few more days but still, so unfair! and we were only able to preorder it like a week ago or something like that. oh well i guess after waiting for so long for this to finally release a few more days won't be the end of the world but it still would've been great to have the ebook at the same time the printed book released. happy reading girl! let us all know how spectacular it is will you :)

i know right! freaking mini fortunes they're charging for some of these books. and don't get me wrong, they should be well compensated for their hard work but come on, charging upwards of $10 - $15 for an ebook?!?! they're not using any ink, paper, machinery, NOTHING on putting out an ebook other than the typed words and the wireless delivery, which we pay for! Arrrgggghhhhh :( sorry had to rant over this because it's one of those hot buttons for me.

Wouldn't you know, a challenge I can manage reading all of these Indie authors. That's all I was going to read the whole month. My library called and said they had a book on hold for me. I go to pick it up and it is three books. I read one of them in two days and am trying to get done with the other two so I have only read one book for our challenge. Ugghh
