I am trying to put off reading Shadows because I have so many others I have to read but Obsidian was a movie! I know I just left one thought for another but when was it a movie! ? How did I not know that? Is that right? Man, if that's true I miss all the good things.

I am currently reading and I am pretty pissed off. There was a major spoiler in the prologue. Its one of those prologues that is actually a peak at something that happens later, but it was something really bad! And its just making me not enjoy this because of what is gonna happen, and makes me totally hate a guy that I think I am supposed to be swooning over, because of what he did in the prologue. If it werent for that I would be enjoying this. It seems to be just the kind of thing I like. And I have considered the possibility that the prologue is purposefully misleading, but regardless of what ends up happening, I am not enjoying myself right now. So, if you read this book, for goodness sake do not read the prologue! And I will continue to hope that it is not what it seems.

Yeah, I'm tired of having it hanging over my head, so I'm skimming. I'm 60% in and still finding nothing to keep me interested, I miss the romantic tension and chemistry from Fallen. Rapture just feels like a textbook from a religion course, other than a few action scenes and some G-rated kissing!! LOL Speed-reading my way through later tonight so I can move onto a good one!

@Rebecca That thing you read in the prologue was a look at something that already happened, if I remember correctly. It wasn't done to the heroine. But I tried (and failed to finish) reading that book a few months ago, so I could be remembering it wrong.

I checked again and I notice they never actually said her name, I just assumed it was Ash. Thats good I guess, but I am still disappointed that they put that there at all.
