Oh man, I was looking forward to The Boy Who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window by Kirsty Moseley . Guess that will be moved down on my list.

A lot of people like it, and it kept me reading, but it just didn't seem right how the abuse situation was handled.

Yeah, I found myself really enjoying it and overlooking the fact that it's got some ridiculous plot, but the way it wrapped up was almost insulting. I could have written a better ending to this thing, it just took away so much from the story!!

Compared to books like Reason to Breathe (another one about abuse that was just amazingly well-written, I highly recommend that one!!), this definitely comes across like a fan-fic book. And for me the ending was just insulting after investing the time on these characters. Bummed, but they can't all be greats! LOL

It doesn't end sad it is just the situation before the end and how it was handled.

I just posted my review (with spoilers) if you want to check it out; it's not that it's a sad ending, it's just very poorly done, like Sara mentioned. Not impressed!

Nicole (dragonbee13) Starting What A Boy Wants by Nyrae Dawn later today. I hope I can finish it before Before I Wake (Soul Screamers, #6) by Rachel Vincent comes in the mail! I'm getting it a week early and WILL put whatever I'm reading on hold until I finish reading it! I am obsessed with this series and am not ashamed to admit it! I've read the first 3 but got behind on other books so I had to put them on hold. I can't wait to get back to it though. I'm a Tod lover but have a soft spot for Nash too!!!

message 8929: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (dragonbee13) I love Tod <3 But you're right! I have a soft spot for Nash too! That's why I have mixed feelings about what happened in If I Die (Soul Screamers, #5) by Rachel Vincent ! I won't spoil anything but I will say that A LOT of things happen in If I Die. So much that I have no idea what to expect in Before I Wake.

message 8930: by Annie (new)

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Eeeeek, I so want to read the rest of this series already!!! I was hooked from the first page of My Soul to Take(whichever was the first book of this series) and the others too. Its such an awesome premise and very intriguing. I love Emma and Kaylee. I didn't like her cousin all that much but maybe she's better, IDK.

message 8931: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (dragonbee13) What drew me in was the fact that they were bean sidhe's since I haven't read anything about them before. Sophie is better in Never to Sleep (Soul Screamers, #5.5) by Rachel Vincent but then she ruins it in the end -_- She has her reasons though! All of these characters go through a lot!!
