@Jody got that already on my book shelf with all the other unread books lol I too am keen to read it but want to finish Vampire Academy series...wish I could read more than one book at a time lol

I hate reading more than one book and every time I do it, I say never agian. Then I go and do it again. I cant help it. This time never agian hahaha
LOL no I've got to concentrate on one book at a time otherwise my head will explode...but I'll definitely let you know when I do read it!! Reviews look really good

LOL I hear you I have been labelled "The Book Whore" by my husband...fitting I say since I just buy books every time I go to the shops or online lol

I have my Wicked Lovely set now too. Dont think I will be getting to that until 2012 lol
yeah I know what you mean..definitely won't be starting those either till next year for sure...I just downloaded a few on my iPhone also lol shelves everywhere are getting filled...I think I'll ask Santa for some free time to read them all lol

Well, those are my two fave books of the year! Enjoy!!

I'm quite disappointed because i'm expecting too much from the series but as i finish each book i'm not that satisfied.
I do still hope that even though i'm near finishing it there will still be a lot of good things that'll happen.

This is one of my very fav book series. You will love it, so many wonderful characters and Julie Kagawa's writing is just beautiful.

I am currently listening to A Great and Terrible Beauty. I'd attempted to sit down and read the book twice but hadn't been able to get beyond the first 50 pages or so. I borrowed the audio version from the library and am just starting disc 8 (or possibly 9) of 10 (or 11). Plus, I picked up the next audio (Rebel Angels) to start during our holiday travels this weekend.
Very soon I will be starting The Annotated Peter Pan (The Centennial Edition). I need to finish it by December 11 for another book club, so we'll see how that cruises along. I guess it's probably more "children's" classification than "YA," but thought it still appropriate to mention here. :o)

I picked up the audio of the second book in the series hoping the first will end at a place leaving me wanting to know more about the characters and where they're headed. Plus, I need something to listen to during our eight hour (total) road trip this weekend. :o)
I've heard such positive reviews about the series and people who really love it, so I feel like I "should" give it the benefit of the doubt. We'll see what happens.
I know I'm like that with so many other books e.g The Host by Stephenie Meyer took ages to start but I kept at it and finally it took off but Terrible Beauty like you I re-read the first few chapters so many times and I just couldn't do it anymore...sometimes you've just got to let go and go onto better stories...but maybe listening to the story might make it easier...

I have been wanting to read Firelight for a while so cant wait. Im taking a break before I read the last VA, 6 books of the same series is a lot in a row. Sometimes I need a break.
Cant wait for you to read about Dimitri!!
Yeah it's sometimes good to take a break it gets a little overwhelming lol yeah I really haven't had time these last couple of days but I'm hoping tonight I should make a good dent in the book

Did you read A Great and Terrible Beauty? What did you think of it?
How is Rebel Angels in terms of pacing when compared to A Great and Terrible Beauty?
I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
