LOL, so glad you loved it!! You MUST read book 2, it is just...oh, there are no words!! Be prepared because it will rip your heart out, but it's unforgettable!! I'm waiting on book 3 b/c I don't think my I can take any more torment for a few days. =) I'm so anxious about what's going to happen after reading Intuition (a new character brings HUGE problems), but I can't leave them behind!!

AAAAAAHHHHHHH I don't think I can! I'm gonna die without Reed in it. I cried my eyes out reading New Moon, and if this is, as I hear, better I'll cry all through it! LOL

I don't know why ever questioned whether or not to read this series. I purchased the 2nd and 3rd books yesterday so that I have them ready and waiting when I get done. :D

This is so much better than New Moon, but in a good way! It's heartbreaking, don't get me wrong, and I still tear up thinking about one scene in particular, but seeing it from Evie's POV, being the one who leaves, gives it a completely different feel. Plus, what happens while she's gone just blows everything out of the water, Amy did an awesome job with the twists in this one!!

Oh, my lord, I'm just a glutton for punishment this weekend!!! I picked up The Last Girl by Kitty Thomas and was left wondering what the hell I stepped into (the beautiful cover on this is deceiving, it is NOT a book for younger readers), then I decided to read on in the Blood Like Poison series and finish Destined for a Vampire (Blood Like Poison, #2) by M. Leighton , thinking it would be tame since it's YA...yeah, not so much!! God, if I have to read one more scene about someone being bled out or tortured I think I may lose my dinner!! *shutters*

It shouldn't affect the story for you at all, in fact I don't see anything Twilight about it so it didn't even cross my mind as I was reading it. It's two brothers growing up in the maffia, and a girl who's been a human slave her whole life changing their lives forever...doesn't make me think of Edward or Bella at all!! lol
