OK I'm confused. Reading
Vampire Academy right now and I'm probbaly only 20 percent in so this question may be answered soon in the book.

Is the main character lesbian? Or in love with the Vampire princess she is supposed to guard? Or just deep friendship there? She seems awfully possessive about the thought of anyone else being asked to guard the princess..

LOL no she's not a lesbian it's her job to be really protective of her and they are really close friends connected more than you know..so keep reading on LOL the series gets better with each book LOL

Not that it really matters, I was just confused about the strong reaction. It seemed like more than friends and even more than someone serving a "master" to me.

I do love the strong heroines so far and the writing is good. AND there's a bunch in the series!

Heinzy is right Jen. You have to keep reading to get an understanding. They are really good books. I believe I am to Shadow Kissed or something like that.

Oh absolutely yes they are awesome one of my all time favourite series along with TID and The Iron Fey you will definitely love it!!

Right now I am reading the 5th book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series but after I am done with these books I plan to start Vampire Academy. :)

@Samantha I don't know why I got sucked into the Morganville Vampires series so easily. I actually read the first two books a little bit of a ways apart. Then I read book three and Myrnin showed up and I fell in love with him and had to keep reading to see him. Plus, the drama in that series kills me. Those books can be so friggin intense!

@Heinzypop Drink Slay Love rules. I completely loved that book. Pearl kicks ass.

HAHAHA OMG! I actually had that thought at first. LOL It's deep friendship and duty but because of a special bond they have it's kind of hard to get used to at first. The second book the series picks up well only because of Adrian Ivashkov my one true love.

I really am enjoying this book so far. I LOVE it when I find a series of books I haven't read yet that are good, and this one seems to have a bunch. YAY!
