Yeah, I was disappointed in it. Some parts were really great and others just stunk. Too bad, it had good potential.

The story and characters are retarded, and the romance isn't very good either. But I don't wanna sound so discouraging, do I'll shoosh now.

I just started Cinder, so far it seems pretty good. I'd say if you're going for the more realistic dystopian go for Legend, 'paranormal' go for Cinder. I know it's not technically paranormal, but it just seems way out there compared to something like Legend. Feel free to read my review on it if you want, might help you decide what mood you're in! LOL

message 4982: by Jen (new)

Jen (geekybookgal) | 159 comments It sounds like a good read. I know it's about what happens after the Rapture but is it very religious in overtones? I like dystopian but not overly religious books.

Ok it does refer to religion quite a bit in the book but not so much that it rules the story just enough because it's absolutely necessary to the whole plot but it's more like watching an episode of Supernatural but with no Dean just Sam (if there was a Dean in this book I would have finished it earlier lol) if that makes sense lol
