Reading Challenge!!!
Month 1 for me will be September!!!
I'll have to start on this in October. There's no way I can finish the book I'm currently reading in one night. lol.
I'll start in October as well. If a title says "Fragile: A Novel", is that considered a one word title or three?
I would say one...cause I think 'a novel' just means its a book....lol
That's what I thought. I find it a bit annoying ... I think I can figure out it's a novel ... as opposed to a PB&J sandwich. Silly!
hehehe....I know...It just seems so stupid to me that they put that in the title....Really I thought it was an elephant....seriously...not all of us are village idiots!!!
OK I will join at somepoint in the future. I actually read three one word titles this month, does that count?
Yes because it's the first group....Good for you...don't forget to post it here so we can all see everyone's achievements!!!
Month #1- Suspicion, Scandal, Vanished. They are all in the same series (the Private series by Kate Brian). I am sooooo addicted to them and cannot wait to see my friend Heather (who lent the books to me over summer) on tuesday to see if she has the last few books!
Way to go!! Now I have to start...
Way to go!! Now I have to start...
I am starting in October:The Hobbit (Classics read also)
Rebecca
Frankenstein
and maybe
Juliet or Villette
Does anyone have the authors for Juliet or Villette?
Charlotte Bronte wrote Villette. Some I've met on Goodreads prefer it to Jane Eyre. guess well see. :-)
Martha wrote: "Charlotte Bronte wrote Villette. Some I've met on Goodreads prefer it to Jane Eyre. guess well see. :-)"Good! It will fill my classics reading. Thank you for the information.
You're very welcome! Since you're reading it in October as I am, we can do a buddy read if you'd like.

I usually read them all at the same time. Depending on my mood I switch back & forth. However, 3 of them will be ebooks for me so that might make a difference.

I usually read one at a time. I am thinking that I will read The Hobbit first, then Frankenstein followed by Rebecca and to finish the October reading challenge Villette.
Sounds good, Miss.terri. I'll try to stay with your plan except for The Hobbit. I'm not reading it this year.

Glad that you are joining in...Love that!!!!
Do the romance novels have to be purely romance or can they be like paranormal romance or action romances?
Of course they can be...as long as Romance is in the genre then that is all I care about
Month #2: You Slay Me(Paranormal romance), Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac(YA romance), Spirit Bound(Paranormal Romance).
Okay I just wanted to say that I am planning to try to do this challenge but I'm not sure which month I'll start it. Probably February but no promises! Re-working my reading challenges and TBR, since I'm site hopping from elsewhere and making goodreads my new home. :) LOL Will decide soon and start with month 1!!
Great! Remember you don't have to do it everymonth...e.g. you can do month one in Feb then month two in May then month three in August.
