Yeah I never know if there's a difference between amazon.com/.co.uk but it always prompts me "don't you mean to shop on .co.uk?" :)
Okay, B&N finally got with the plan and now has it for free too. :)

Thanks Vivian, I had Emerald Talisman on my TBR. I looked it up at B&N and it's 99 cents.Do Sony books sideload onto other devices or are they DRM protected?

Actually, ignore the B&N thing. Go directly to Smashwords to download the epub version for any reader that uses epub (don't think I was logged in either, so you prob don't need an account).Link is up here :

We were talking about this one in the book covers topic and I just noticed it's up on Netgalley under a different cover.
I wasn't sure where to put this. I suppose I could have put it in the currently reading topic and that would have been fine too, but this is kind of a free book in a way.

Kindle's having a deal : The entire Hunger Games trilogy for $4.38. That is a very good deal and if you haven't read it yet, I'd say this one's a must read. Don't wait for the movie to get the story.http://www.amazon.com/The-Hunger-Game...
*edit* deal is gone/in limbo as of 7 p.m. EST.
Oh and whaddya know? B&N is having the same exact deal of $4.38 for the trilogy.http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/hunge...

I haven't read this one yet, but it was recommended to me by a couple of very discriminating (choosy) readers, so I'm passing it along.
$2.99 for Kindle http://www.amazon.com/Angelfall-Penry...
$2.99 for Nook http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/angel...
*edit* just went back and checked my list. It was given 4.5 and 5 stars by everyone who's read it, and some of the people are very picky about pnr/uf, so that gives me hope that this is a good one.
Looks like Amazon just took the Hunger Games trilogy deal away, but B&N is still showing theirs. I'm guessing this is probably for a very limited time.
Amazon probably mistakenly priced it like it was only the first book and B&N reacted by lowering theirs and now Amazon is like oh shiz.

I'm willing to give it a try, thanks for the link.
I've heard such great things about Angelfall, actually bought it a couple days ago. Planning on reading it soon.Bummed I missed the Hunger Games trilogy deal on Amazon. I've read them, but they'd be nice to own.

Fans of the Seven Realms series (demon king, etc.):Book 1 of this author's other fantasy series is on auto-approve over at Netgalley.
I love her seven realms series, but for some reason I couldn't get into that story, maybe I should try again, I read that after she finishes the last book in the seven realms series she's going to write another set in that world.

Bloomsbury & Walker has A LOT of their e-books on sale right now. I'm not even going to attempt to find all of them, but here are some that I've come across:
historical fiction$4.79 Kindle http://www.amazon.com/The-Twins-Daugh...
$10.19 Nook :(
$4.79 Kindle http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003...
not on sale for Nook

not on sale Nook
$4.79 Kindle http://www.amazon.com/Deception-Haunt...
$8.15 Nook
Not sure why these aren't on sale on the Nook as well. Maybe the price will drop later? Would be worth keeping an eye on if you're a nook owner and want one of these.
Also if there's a Bloomsbury & Walker book you've been wanting you might want to check the ebook price. This isn't everything. There were too many for me to find them all and these are just some of the ones that I know have been kinda popular.
Some good ones:

Haven't read it so I don't know if it's any good, but free is no risk.
Amazon - FREE http://www.amazon.com/Jenny-Pox-Paran...
Not free for Nook ($2.99)
Jenny Pox is awesome. Definitely don't want to miss that one. Getting it for free is a ridiculous steal.

I just went and downloaded it to check, and it does appear to be the full book. Click on Angie's thumbnail and it will have a download book option on the page on a green button under the summary. It's epub, so if you use a kindle, you'll need to convert it with Calibre.

Sure. I posted a smashwords link earlier in the topic when I found a book for free on Amazon, but couldn't find it free on B&N. As long as the book isn't a self-promotion.*edit*
Actually, I think I'm going to have to retract what I said earlier. I wanted to say yes to letting authors post their own free books because free is no risk, but it might be a slippery slope if we were to allow some authors to add free books, while others might feel left out that they couldn't add books that cost a dollar or two (which would be a GREAT deal). I just wouldn't feel secure in allowing personal for-profit sales in this topic, and I don't want to put out one set of rules for some authors, while using a different set for another. You never know when someone is going to feel slighted because they didn't have the chance to get their name out there, while someone else was allowed to.
If the book is your own (or holds personal interest because it's a close friend or family member), please post it in the authors and promotions folder. You're welcome to start a topic over there and link to your free book download. I'm guessing anyone interested in the book will jump all over it if it's free. :)
Okay, Ta. Yah, I do have two YA novels here. Much research and rewritten five times each.Very different to what I see is usually presented as YA.
One is via a small press and they are handling the marketing. Reviewers are comparing it with To Kill a Mockingbird. Ha, ha, I was really trying to compete with Tom Sawyer. So I got it wrong.
The other, I decided to self pub free on Smashwords because I am fighting cancer and don't want to wait two to three years for a publisher's contract to come into effect. I value readers more than dollars.
Lots of fun promoting the self pub. It has taken off like a rocket. In one month, it has leap-frogged over five hundred competitors and is being showered with 'likes' to the point of embarrassment.
Very keen to give it free to Goodreads, but frightened of getting my head chopped off if I even mention the titles or provide the Smashwords link.
So will go squizz your promotions Folder. Don't know where it is, but will go see.
Many thanks,
Pierre.
