This also just won an Alex Award. I didn't realize it was adult, but I guess it is?

IKR! I was shocked to see it up there. *fingers crossed*

I kept forgetting to check it too, but then I got approved by Harper Perennial for "The Wonder Bread Summer." It reminded me to see what was new! :)

Edelweiss is a site for book bloggers, media professionals, librarians, etc. where the publishers post books to request for review. A lot of major publishers are on there, but it's a lot harder for approval unless you're on the professional side of things. I personally have a mostly YA book blog but am always approved for Adult fic and usually denied YA.....

Anna, thanks for the info. I guess that is something that I wouldn't have access to.

Thanks for letting us know. I have a friend who wants me to read this.

Damn, I just realizeed you might be right. I'm willing to start a FRESH new series that will take God knows how long to release all it's books, but I won't start Bloodlines when the 3rd book is about to release?
I better start making plans to read Bloodlines....but if I get approved for The Gods Game Board I won't complain ;)

I really enjoy VA but haven't made the jump to Bloodlines either. I loved Dimitri but still felt bad for Adrian. I heart him too.

I don't know anyone who has read this one. I liked her If I Lie well enough. But this book sounds like it might do that love-the-guy-who-wants-me-dead thing that annoys me in other books. The whole healer thing has me interested, though.

I heard it as some similarities to Twilight, but I haven't read it myself yet.
