I had trouble working out what to recommend as you had already read so many I would otherwise suggest OR you hadn't continued the series due to not rating the first book well (eg Carpathians series by Feehan). When I did the 'compare books' function - you had read every book and I had only read half! LOL! "
Oh I already started Faefever! I'm around 15% in already...if you like to join me, please let me know!
I'll let you know about Hot Head....
@ Laura: Hello, i was absent so the picks weren't late at all. I like them a lot, but will probably go with Water for Elephants since my brother bought it to me for my birthday this month and it's somewhere on my shelves. Or i'll go with The Hunger Games. ^^ Thank you!

Hey, Larissa!
I'm sorry for being so late but I was in Greece the whole week on my graduation trip and got home yesterday but I was really lacking some sleep after a week of partying, but here we go now:
1.) (2 books) From their TBR
The Bride by Julie Garwood & Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton
The first one is a historical romance, I rated it 4 stars. This type of books is something I like reading when I want to take a break from young adult lit or everything else. Garwood has a nice sense of humor so I laughed a lot through the whole book, also the reading is very fluent and quick. The second book is definetly one of my favs and it's the reason why I started reading paranormal romance again. I adored it, really. I had a vivid image in front of me through the whole book and I can't wait for the sequel.
2. (2 books) New to Them
It Must Be Love by Rachel Gibson & Dead End Dating by Kimberly Raye
The first one is a chick lit genre, I noticed you don't have quite a lot of those on your TBR pile. But I had fun reading it on the beach and perhaps it has a predictable ending and all, but it has a nice mystery twist to it and some sarcastic lines. The second gives you a nice picture of what life would look like for vampires today - it's like reading Sex in the City paranormal version.
3. (2 books) Your Favorites
The Host by Stephenie Meyer & Summer Sisters by Judy Blume
I honestly don't know what you think of Meyer and Twilight series, but I hated the saga and I started reading this book with quite a lot of predictions of how cheesy and teenager(ish) it will be. I was more than surprised, it's one of my faves. The second book... the writing is extremely simple and I think that some people love it and others hate it. I loved it, perhaps because I understand the relationship of two friends that's described in it and I understand how summer can change your life completely.
4. (2 books) From your TBR
Succubus Blues by Richelle Meade & Delirium by Lauren Olivier
I have both at home, waiting for me to read them and they're both also on your TBR pile. I liked Richelles VA quite a lot, still stuck at number 5 in the series but just because I can't get into the line at the library for it. (:
Once again sorry for the late picks, and also - I had fun going through your books piles, we have quite a similar taste and ratings of the books.

Well, if your excuse was being in Greece, you're totally forgived! Hope that you enjoyed it!
Now, as for the picks, I loved them, really. Could read them all. But this month I'll be quite busy - both studying and both reading books that I already have - so I'll think about the list - it'll be a hard choice picking only a few - and as soon as I start reading I'll let you know.
Thanks!
JoyceI'm in the middle of a couple books, but hope to wrap them up over the next couple days. I'm also hoping The Accidental Werewolf is on the next SOS Bookshelf Bingo shelf, which is announced late Saturday, US time. How does Sunday/Monday as a start date sound?
106 sets of recommendations given (*whew*) that is a lot of books. Happy to say that we are waiting only 19 recommendations right now, that is great for such a large group I think and there is still 36 hours before the re-mix (they still have plenty of time). Thanks everyone for making this month so easy on me.
Hey guys. Sorry I'm late, too. I didn't know the picks and recommendations already started a few days ago. Anyways, who ever gets to pick for me, just let me know when you're ready by sending me a message on my goodreads account. I set it on public just in case. Sorry, I just have a hard time looking for the person who's supposed to pick for me here. Scavenger hunt isn't really my thing. Thanks. I appreciate it!:)

Hey Megan we are paired again I hope you enjoy From your TBR I choose
Water for Elephants
The Host
I loved both of these books. It took me a few chapters in and a few restarts to get into The Host because I couldnt ubderstand what was going on but once I did I couldnt put it down
Water for Elephants is a beautiful but sad/happy story that I loved reading.
I would also like to add a bonus book that I saw on your TBR that I loved abd it was called Into The night by jenelle Dennison. Its a book I recently read and loved.
– (2 books) New to Them -
Ok I hope these are new to you I didnt see them in our comparison
Wild Card by Lora Leigh
Trial by Fire Jo Davis
Both of these are amazing books that are the first in a series. I have read them both and of course I had to buy the rest of the series because I loved them so much. They are extremely steamy and the the leading men are awesome! Highly recommend either
(2 books) Your Favorites -
Ok these are on your TBR and I loved them both so much
Cry No More
Savor The Danger
Cry no more is not romance but fantastic!
Savor the danger is amazing and Jackson Savor is my favorite Lori Foster character. It was sublime until I read this one!
(2 books) From your TBR –
Some Like it Scott
LaVida Vampire
This was pretty easy to pick. We both have 2 TBR in common and these are them. I love Donna Kauffman so I know that will rock. I have not tried Nancy Haddock but I have had the book for a while. Coincidently enough it was on sale last week at the bookstore during my book club meeting and a few ladies picked it up as well
I hope you enjoy something from the list. Actually aside from the last 2 that I havent read I know you will because they are all great.

Well - I could join you on Faefever - but I think we'll leave it... I think I'll finish Dragon Bound first ;)
(I actually could join you - I have already read the first half of the book. I picked it up in early August then put it down again when I realised I was headed for a major cliffhanger for the endings on this and the next book - I wanted to get book 5 in line before I restarted. I know book 5 is on its way to me now... So I could join you with just a quick refresh read to the half way mark... But I think I'll still leave it ;)
Thanks Britta. I'll let you know what I pick after I see what is available. If nothing else, these are certainly outside of my usual realm of choices.
Hey Fran!!Just to let you know that I'll have your picks out by tomorrow! I just finished orientation and am in the process of moving into my apartment in NYC, so am a little late posting!!! I'll think about the books tonight and post them tomorrow (no internet in my flat yet, so I have to go to a coffee shop!).. But fear not, I haven't forgotten you! X
Hey Valerie-Varuca!!Thanks for my picks! Sorry I haven't checked in earlier!! Since I just moved to NYC, I don't have all my books, but I do have

Hi Gigi,
I'm Karen M. I got your list of books. I'm really excited by the books you chose for me. I have most of them in my TBR's. I can't wait to get started on them!
Hi LaurenWell I made it FINALLY as a first timer yourself I'm sure you agree this is absolutely terrifying!
Here goes
YOUR TBR
I choose this because it was fairly near the top of your list and also the cover caught my eye! I think I also read some of CHERRY ADAIR years ago.
When I was looking at some of your books this one kept coming up as an ad....then I found it on your TBR! Don't think you can go wrong with a LORI FOSTER
NEW AUTHOR
I'm hoping this covers a mystery element for you
Another mystery by an author I love
MY FAVOURITES
For something completely different! I thought you could try this. It should be at a library
Still on the disability theme but one of the things I LOVE about Jodi Picoult is that she manages to get the reader to see things from multiple points of view.
MY TBR
Just thought it looks good
Because I read another one of this author and loved it. AKA (at least in New Zealand) So What If I'm Broken?
Well I hope you find something in there, If not don't hold it against me! LOL
Happy reading and sorry for the delay
Rachel :0)
Hi Rachel, Thanks very much for the picks. All except the ones on my TBR are new to me so I will be adding them to my ever growing pile. I think I'll focus on the ones I already have in my possession (I don't think my budget can handle another trip to the bookstore, lol!)
So this month I'll read Undertow or If You dare, or maybe both.
Have a great weekend and happy reading everyone!
Vi- You have to read Fallen!!! I just finished it and it was very good! It was a little hard to get into but once things started happening it got intense and I couldn't put it down. So one book down, moving on to Practice Makes Perfect! Maybe when I go back to the library they will have one of the other books you recommended!
Caroline!Made it back (what a week!) Thanks so much for your picks. Think I'm going to start with ALONG CAME A SPIDER because I have been meaning to see the movie.
I have read LAST LETTER FROM YOUR LOVER (I think I forgot to add it) but I REALLY enjoyed it.
If you like Virginia Andrews I can't believe you haven't read Flowers In The Attic yet! It was the first one I read as a teenager (a few years ago now!) Really happy to buddy read this with you if you want.
Thanks again
Rachel

Hey Brenda, so glad you liked my picks! I was afraid the picks might have been redundant :):):)
I'll push Fallen to my coming-up-next shelf. I'll try to pick it up soon.
Neha, you can start reading anytime after September 1. For Buddy read, you need to set up a date with your buddy.

Hi KarenM!
I'm so sorry about the mix up. Also, you only need to read one book to complete the challenge. So, you really don't have to read all of them- well, unless you want to. If you pick one, let me know which one.
Karen wrote: "Hi Suzanne (pebblesy),I've got some picks for you, mostly from your TBR's. A couple of them are long books. Anyway, here goes:

Thanks Karen! Nothing can seem bigger than my current read - Anna Karenina started reading it on the kindle so never realised just how many pages it was until I noticed I was only 8% along... at page 80 something of 1142!
Definitely going to look at the new to me ones, but think I might have to read them all (Just maybe not all this month)
Beth wrote: "I'll do it, sorry if this is a bit late :("Beth, I can add you into the re-mix, but the initial sign up was last week.

One of the books that you both want to read, you read at about the same time and then you compare notes (sometimes in a separate thread). It is a fun book club sort of way to read a book.

Hi Rachel:-)
Great to see you here! If your read The Last Letter from Your Lover how about The Ship of Brides by the same author? It was a toss up between the two and the former won!!
I tried reading it when I was a teenager (many. many years ago too!!) but couldn't get into it as my hearts were still with the Casteels!! But would love to try again and would love to buddy read it with you! I have just ordered a copy from my local library so I'll message you when it arrives if thats okay? Meanwhile enjoy Along Came a Spider:-) x x
