Oops, might be a delay on the release now!

Sent the second lot of edits back yesterday (there were two minor things to alter) and she told me she'll put me back in the queue and get to it in a few weeks!!!! What the heck!

I could've written a new book in the time they've taken to edit it! lol

Then the MS has to be passed around their proof-readers. So it might surface in June I suppose. ;-(

I woke up to a wonderful review for Final Justice from Lorraine today.

Blimey, it's not very often I read a whole book in 24 hours, but this one just did it for me. I really enjoyed the first two installments, and this one didn't disappoint either. The focus on Lorne was most welcome, and it's rather nice to find out that she's not just supercop and supermum (or whatever you are when you try to be the best of both), she's also a woman, with her weaknesses and her faults. It makes her more credible as a character. Even though that means there is a bit less action compared to Impeding Justice, it's still an awesome chase all across France.

And the Unicorn deserves a nomination for the baddie of the year.

I am SO looking forward to the next book in the series ! In the meantime, I'd better go and catch up on some sleep !

Just to let you know, the op went fine today and I'm home (: my mum was laughing though.. As I was going under the anaesthetic, I suddenly shouted 'where's my kindle?! Can you keep it safe?!' haha x

Are you going to have to spend a long time doing physio and stuff or is the healing going to be pretty straightforward?

I think it's pretty straight forward (: in 4 days I have to loosen the bandage, then in 2 weeks I have to have the stitches out. A couple of weeks of physio and I'll be done (: x

I was up at 6:00 but reported for duty late, ma'am! Had the tax paperwork to sort out! :-)

I hate getting up before 7. When we look after my pals dog we have the bad habit of letting him into our bed when he comes through at stupid o'clock so he'll sleep some more! It's not hard to convince him to sleep considering he is 9 years old now!

Glad everything went well Katy and that it wont take too long to heal :o)

Jud with the lighter mornings my dogs are a nightmare at the moment. Plus if I have an early appointment I'm worried about oversleeping, don't like alarms!
