I recently read Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire. I really enjoyed it, but did anyone else find some of the events completely outrageous?
Tami wrote: "Nicole, you are lucky! I had to wait for Hornet's to be released. :) Glad you are enjoying them."That must have been really difficult! Haha I had a hard time waiting til I could get to a bookstore. I finished it earlier this week and loved it just as much as the second one. But as with all good series, now I'm sad it's over.
I also recently finished Beach Blondes: June Dreams, July's Promise, August Magic which was disappointing even for a beach read and even though it has good ratings/reviews on its goodreads page. I'm leaving the beach tomorrow but I think I'll continue with the beach theme for a little longer and pick up That Old Cape Magic, which has been sitting on my bookshelf for way too long.
I finished 11/22/63 and really enjoyed it. Not quite sure I like the ending though.
Now started Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo. Haven't read the series but own them all and my nephew keeps telling me how much he likes them.

Katelyn,
I read them both and really liked them. Hope you did/do too!
Laarni, I keep meaning to pick that up next. Hopefully soon.

I finished Shadow kiss by Richelle Mead and waiting for Blood Promise mean time went to a library and found Hamlet by Shakespeare...I never thought I will read Shakespear's but now reading...:):)
I am currently reading Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West! It is a lovely book so far, I'm a fan of the musical so I thought I'd give it a go.
I just finished the Princess for Hire series, which I adored, read "Pushing the Limits" which was also fantastic and now I'm reading "Wicked Lovely" because the author is coming here for an event. :)
Kimberly wrote: "I just finished the Princess for Hire series, which I adored, read "Pushing the Limits" which was also fantastic and now I'm reading "Wicked Lovely" because the author is coming here for an event. :)"I really need to read the final book in the Princess for Hire series! I loved the first two books, they're so cute :) Hope you like Wicked Lovely better than I did!
I just finished reading:
The Presidents ClubGetting ready to begin:
No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama Bin Laden
I am reading The Alchemist and some other things on the side. I am thinking about finishing THG series after this but this is coming from a person who hasn't finished Harry Potter yet.
A few years ago, an author was selling his books at a local craft fair and I bought them. Finally picked them up and how entertaining! Hidden Mickey and HIDDEN MICKEY 2: It All Started... - another Action-adventure Mystery Novel about Walt Disney. Reading the second one right now and ***gasp*** left it at home! I feel so out of sorts not having a book in my bag. I seldom get to do any reading during the day, but still!
I just finished readingMockingjay by Suzanne Collins
and currently reading
Every Day by David Levithan
They aren't meaningful classic-type novels, but they are fun. I love Disneyland and the idea that Walt Disney somehow left a whole bunch of "Treasure Hunts" for fans to find is way fun! The writing is decent and the story line moves along quickly. I have noticed some issues and figured out the clues way before the hunters but still good reads.

Right now I'm reading Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and I'm still working through The Short Novels: Tortilla Flat/The Moon is Down/The Red Pony/Of Mice & Men/Cannery Row/The Pearl by John Steinbeck. With that one, I've finished Tortilla Flat and The Red Pony. I'm working through Of Mice & Men, which I've read before.
i'm reading the rules of civility for a second time. i bought the book on a whim because i love the 1920's-1930's and i was amazed. it is now my favorite book. i'm also reading villans of all nations and beneath a marble sky
Jess wrote: "How are you liking The Alchemist? I thought it was pretty good. "I didn't go into it thinking I would but I actually really liked the book. You still reading,
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter? Was/Is it good? I remember seeing the previews for the movie but never looked farther then that.

I finished it. I was skeptical at first, but I ended up really enjoying it. I guess you just have to go into it with the mindset of knowing it's not going to be a "serious" read. I've been curious about the movie, but then I never really heard much about it after it came out.
I just finished The perks of being a wallflower, i like it a in some way, even i think if i read it in High School, i would appreciated it more. Now i'm looking for what to read, suggest me anything :)
just finished reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King which was a very good book but I just wished the ending was a little better
Grayson, I agree, the ending wasn't up to the level of the rest of the book, but a great read anyways.
I just finished Perks of Being a Wallflower. And I'm reading Beautiful Creatures as well as The Casual Vacancy.
Tami wrote: "Grayson, I agree, the ending wasn't up to the level of the rest of the book, but a great read anyways."I was expecting a totally different scenario when Jake went back to his time after saving JFK and I was blown away when Sadie died

I agree with Kimberly, spoilers! if you edit and put < spoiler> in front of it and < /spoiler> behind it(without the spaces) it will hide it unless someone clicks on the spoiler link. :)

I finished The Casual Vacancy Friday and LOVED IT!
Now I have started My Berlin Kitchen: A Love Story (with Recipes) which is a Goodreads Giveaway win. Good so far, even if it makes me hungry when there is no real reason for me to be. :)

Half way through the third ender's game book Xenocide. And then, on to the new Stephen King super novel, 11/22/63. That thing is huge!

I started Little Men by Louisa May Alcott last night. I forgot how much I enjoy her writing. It's great so far.
Finished My Berlin Kitchen: A Love Story (with Recipes) and started Bad Glass. My last 2 giveaways wins. After that, I don't know what I am going to pick up.
